Chu Chu’s Tacos — Restaurant in Hutchins

Let me just say I’m a real big on tacos I love them down real bad but when i first tasted chu chu’s over a year ago it was my togo at anytime I was sad when she closed for months to change location and i respected that and understood the reason she changed location the place is always clean and the family is so welcoming and nice every time I go I always run into Mama Chu chu sitting at the table I could eat here EVERYDAYYYYY the food as NEVER failed me I love their tacos and burritos the most i definitely would recommend if your close to Hutchins or even if you’re not it’s worth every penny and oh I’m not a bean eater but it’s something about their refried beans I’ve been eating them lately so you know what that mean lol go try them it’s definitely worth it

Placed order at 11:45am and guy on the phone said give him 20-25 min which is normal. I got there at 12:10 and he said give him another 10 minutes. 10 minutes passed, 20 minutes passed and still nothing. An hour later I got my food and was placed to go! While I was there waiting other customers were also waiting for their food. Also, he showed me the drinks available. He had maybe 3-4 Jarritos in the fridge and a few can sodas. Not many choices. If you’re hungry and want to go there for lunch AVOID this place. You will starve waiting and probably be back late for work.

Follow up from review - got back to the job site with the plates I had ordered. Aside from forgetting one plate they also forgot to add the extra tacos I had ordered for the individual plates. I called the restaurant and he said oh yes we forgot to add them. This is a joke of a restaurant. My daughter’s pretend restaurant is levels...

It was our first time here and we found it by accident just driving by. This is a small family owned business that just opened at this location 2 months ago. It’s not a huge menu but still a great range of options. We ordered the carne asada fries, a taco plate and the chicken quesadilla plate. Food was really good! Me and my husband are kind of picky with asada. We don’t like it to be big chunky pieces of meat and theirs was perfect. Chopped finely and seasoned very well.
