Food was meh. Service not that great. She forgot to let me know there was only half an order of what I ordered and if I still wanted it, AFTER she served everyone else at our table. What threw me for a loop, was the $59.99 red snapper listed as miscellaneous. When I asked why red snapper was so expensive, she said that was the market value. That’s a lie. I’ve had lobster at fine dining cheaper than that. They fail to disclose market prices, and the waitress will charge her own gratuity of 20% and 4% of the bill if you pay with a credit card. They think people are idiots because no where at any cheap looking run of the mill restaurant is a red snapper going to cost $60 to be served with white rice and salad. This place takes advantage of their community charging fine dining prices on the SE side of Chicago. People need to stop supporting these kind of business.

First time at the spot. Its was pretty good. We all ordered different things. And shared and everything was 😋. I am not partial to empanadas so an ok rating on those. The staff was nice and friendly as well as efficient. This is a BYOB establishment and they're is liquor sure right next door. PERFECT for those drinkers out there.

If you are looking for great flavor this is the spot. Next time I visit Chicago I will be eating here again. Bring your own beer was a first for me, but that doesn't discourage me.

RESPONSE TO OWNER:

Just your response shows how unprofessional you and your employees are. If there is a fee it should be DISCLOSED! As far as that being the price of the item below, there was not an item below. TWO FISH IS BETTER!

I go to karaoke ALL the time and it's NEVER that loud. Honestly, the karaoke is the BEST THING ABOUT my visit. Your service suck, the food is subpar and You Sit/Ma'am is UNPROFESSIONAL.

I went there recently. It was my 1st time here. They do not have a english/Spanish menu. I used my translater to order.

When it was time to order, I asked for the small crab legs. The menu said it was $27.99, large 52.99. the waitress said no it's $52.99. We only carry 1 size. I showed her the menu, she went to the back then returned to say, "it's $75". The menu is old. I thought it was ridiculous. Especially since the menus was not worn. She offered us a 6-8 person tray for $100.99. Our table order it. This place is BYOB.

FAST FORWARD: We get out bill. There's 2 unfamiliar charges and a $22 gratuity added for 4 ppl. When I questioned about the chages the waitress says" there's a $10 charge for music and $10 for you bringing your own drink" I asked her why wasn't those fees disclosed prior to serving us. Long story short after 15 mins of pressing the issue the 2 charges were removed it.

The DJ was good but the music was EXTREMELY LOUD! I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me although we both were yelling at each other.

The experience deserves zero stars but the food was okay. Not worthy of a...

Very unpleasant visit! Waiter took forever, food wasn’t Very delightful, waiter didn’t care to be attentive since tip was already included... just terrible overall! Never coming back! Rated one star because I had too, would’ve been 0 if possible!

UPDATE: If I’m taking my sweet time to reply to the business owner it’s because it was that bad! As soon as we entered the door, nobody greeted us! When the waiter got to us to take our order, it was more than clear that she didn’t know her menu she had to go ask another waiter what we had asked! When she brought us the appetizers she brought us paper plates, something I’ve NEVER seen in any restaurant especially not a mariscos place! When we got our food, I HAD TO get up and ask for silverware because she had never brought it to us! I’m not complaining about having gratuity added to our bill because I myself am a waiter, but that’s why I make sure to give my costumers the best service not a two time visit to the table! So, if I added the gratuity part it’s because our service wasn’t any where near being a $16...
