Small World Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

I have traveled as far south as the Mexican peninsula and as far north as the Canadian Yucatan...and decided it was time to try food in my backyard. In terms of seating, for a small bar, SmallWorld has ample seating whether at the bar, tables in the back, or tables outside.

There are big screens on every wall so you won't miss the action of local or national sports. Most importantly, I cam for Taco Tuesday and it's not over exaggeration to say the tacos are the best hardshell around. They were reasonably priced and did the job when it came to filling me up with good food.

I just wanna say I had a great experience with the bartenders working and the food was great! But, the amount of disgust I feel after going there Sunday afternoon is unimaginable. I watched a grown man belittle and treat the staff with disrespect. I watched two girls work hard and handle about 70 people at a time, but the second this man wasn’t catered to he went ballistic. There should have been more people working, and there should have also been someone there to protect those poor girls. I will NEVER return in fear of crazy men pulling the same stunt. Shoutout to those girls for working hard and making the best out of the situation. Shame on whoever makes the schedule for not scheduling...

I was with my daughter having lunch this place was close and I decided to check it out based on their reviews. We entered the bar was properly greated and given a menu. Pleasant atmosphere we ordered I got the steak philly and my daughter got the grilled Buffalo chicken tacos. Once the food arrived and we started eating we both agreed the food was very tasty and well seasoned. The only reason they get 3 stars and not 5 is the amount of food for the price. My daughter only got 2 tacos and fries for $13.00, the steak philly I ordered had more onions than steak and I feel it wasn't worth $12.00. Like I said the portions you get isn't...
