Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Hyrum

My family stopped at Pizza Plus this past Saturday, after attending a wedding in Hyrum. We placed an order for a medium pizza, a deluxe salad, and a supreme calzone. Our receipt time was stamped 6:59 p.m. Thirty minutes later, I went to the counter to check on our order and was told that it was in the oven. Eight minutes after that they called our name. The pizza and salad were ready, but my husband's calzone was not. They said it would be a few more minutes. When I opened my "deluxe" salad, it was missing the broccoli and cauliflower. I went to the counter to ask about it and was told that an "executive decision" had been made to not add those ingredients to their salads anymore. It was still listed as an ingredient on the digital menu at the counter. I went back to my salad, which had some frozen ham in it and was missing the shredded mozzarella. Meanwhile my husband still hadn't received his calzone. A full 49 minutes after our initial order, my husband went to the counter and asked if his calzone was done. They had forgotten about it. Excellent food, but seriously overpriced. A large pizza starts at $11.99, for ONLY CHEESE, then they charge extra for toppings. A large Hawaiian & a Large Pepperoni w/ Olives cost $34.41... Are you freaking kidding me?! I knew Pizza Plus was a little more spendy going into this, but $34.41 for 2 lg pizzas is asinine.. the cashier already swiped my card then I realized he said $34.41 & we broke down the price. These guys charge $2.00 to add 2 toppings to a $12 cheese pizza?! I tried calling twice, from 2 different phones before I drove from Wellsville but every time I just got the annoying sound like I called an inoperable line, but I got the phone # off Google (& all the locals know it is 435-245-PLUS). I wouldn't have driven to Hyrum for overpriced Pizza had the phone worked & been able to get a price beforehand. The food is great, but I will not be coming back here unless they get the prices in line (at the very least don't charge extra for toppings!...

As a newer Hyrum resident, I really wanted to support local business but I just can’t order from Pizza Plus again. I ordered a medium bbq chicken pizza, small cheese bread, and a salad and it was nearly $40. The delivery driver was very nice though. The salad was rotten. The lettuce was black and wilted. Tomatoes were slimy, and the cucumbers were so mushy they were almost indistinguishable. I can’t believe someone made and thought “yeah this is okay!” I’ve never been served such outdated food. It went right in the garbage upon arrival.The pizza was very okay. Not bad but would not order again. The only edible item in my order was the bread sticks and jalapeño ranch, which were actually very tasty.
