Behold, dear gastronomes and connoisseurs of the culinary arts, a quaint establishment where gastronomic delights converge with monetary sanity! The treasure trove of delectable comestibles is a veritable oasis for the ravenously inclined. Indeed, they boast those colossal hamburgers, akin to the leviathans of competitive eating spectacles. Now, I must confess, the mere thought of tackling such a mountainous heap of sustenance sends a tremor through my frail constitution, as my appetite is more modestly proportioned. However, should one possess an insatiable hunger that rivals the abyss, you might find yourself victorious, devouring every last morsel and snagging a free repast, along with a coveted portrait on their hallowed Wall of Fame! The burgers, oh my galloping gastronomes, were a resounding triumph, radiating satisfaction, whilst the fries, alas, danced on the cusp of mediocrity—though fear not! The table's salt shakers stand ready to elevate them to a piquant paradise of flavor tailored to your whims. And let us not overlook the ambrosial fried sauce; a divine creation that bestows upon you the sovereign freedom of portion control, presented in your very own container—so you may indulge to your heart's content, or exercise restraint, as the mood decrees. The serving sizes, I must declare, are gargantuan compared to the trifling sum of coin required—a veritable bounty of fries and burgers awaits! As for the libations, while the options may not rival Olympus’ nectar in grandeur, there lies a fascinating cherry beverage that my beloved betrothed endeavored to sample. He posits that it is not the epitome of divine elixirs, yet it does not wallow in the depths of terrible despair either. A pleasant compromise, he claims, for the cherry aficionados, while urging those with a more distant relationship to the fruit to perhaps steer clear. In summary, the service was as splendid as a dance upon the clouds, even though we encountered a minor hiccup when a companion was erroneously bestowed with an incorrect sandwich; but worry not, for the staff, with alacrity akin to a speeding comet, rectified the situation promptly, leaving us ensconced in satisfaction and our appetites thoroughly quenched. Without a doubt, my fellow epicurean travelers, we shall return to partake in this banquet once more and trumpet this find to all who...

I had heard about Big Jud's & the big 1 pound & 2 pound burgers. I was in the area & decided to drive the extra 8 miles & check them out. I was immediately greeted after entering & taken to a table. Within a few minutes a young gentleman came. He also brought a small plate with napkins on it & containers of ketchup & fry sauce. I wondered why napkins on a plate, but appreciate the clean healthy aspect of that. He took my drink order. I don't like/trust ice in my drinks & ordered a soda without ice. He was prompt to get it & returned to take my order. I ordered the Hawaiian burger & a small order of tater tots. When the food came a little later I was pleasantly surprised at the size of each item. I first questioned how I was going to take bites out of that TALL burger. It was huge in height. With some hand squishing I got to where I could take a bite & get everything in my mouth from top bun to bottom bun. What joy to find such a juicy & flavorful burger. Definitely worth the higher price for a more gourmet burger. And the tater tots! Nice & crispy like I love them so they don't break apart when dipped in fry sauce. And the small was more like a large with enough for 2 people. I was extra hungry & was able to get it all down. I only had 2 issues on my visit. 1st was when he asked if I wanted a refill on my soda he brought it back with ice. I'm used to places remember my special request & will know next time to remind them. My 1st cup didn't have a lud on it & I visually saw no ice. This time it had a lid & I didn't even pay attention until I was halfway through. The worst issue was the fly problem. While earning my burger I had to swat away fly(s) multiple times & that was distracting to the enjoyment of eating my meal. Maybe they could put up some kind of sticky fly traps after they close & remove them before opening to help eliminate the problem. It wasn't the heat of the summer when you'd expect them to be so bad so it made me feel like this was a problem going on for...

If I could give a zero star I would! The cleanliness of this place was terrible! Trash as you walk in the front door and all over the floor. Also the service was the absolute worst ever experienced. Never spoken to when we walked through the door. Finally got sat and took at least 20 minutes to get the drink order and drinks given to us. Then we waited at least 1.5 hrs for the burgers we ordered! Took into consideration they were busy, however never was checked on while waiting for our food. We finally got our food it was cold and way over cooked. The burgers were disintegrating as we were eating them. Never checked on after was given our food. Did notice that the tables that got sat after us were getting food, drinks and checked on multiple times. Also the waitress was just as friendly as can be with them. Then finally got our waitress attention, asked for boxes. Waited over 15 minutes for the boxes. Finally had to get up and get my own boxes and asked for my bill. When at check out I mentioned that this was the worst experience ever and the waitress then decided to ask if we had anything fun planned. At this point ma’am it’s too late! Don’t be friendly at the end when you want a tip! Zero tip! And I am normally a big tipper but that was absolutely the worse customer service and food we have ever had. Will not be going back to any Big Judds at all! Also if I knew the gals name I would call her out! For sure needs either more waitresses or she needs to learn better customer service! Zero stars and worse...

Was in Archer so we decided to stop by Big Jud’s and was not disappointed with our choice. The service was outstanding from the moment we entered. It was clean and appealing to the eyes with all the cool decor. The food smells were great. Once we were seated we could see all of the wonderful food coming from the kitchen. The cook staff had some good music playing and seem to be enjoying their work. It was also apparent that one hamburger would be enough for us both. You also have to order the fries, tots or onion rings separately. The food was hot and good. They also split the burger for us. We had the mushroom bacon burger. The one thing I noted was how good it looked. You know sometimes you get burger drippings when you split a burger well there was none of that. Which means they took a lot of care with the presentation. We got a small tot but it was very plentiful so don’t just order a large because you do at other places. The bathroom was very clean but small and there is only one. The staff does a lot of cleaning and that was very much appreciated and noticable. Ohhhh I almost forgot the burger was well seasoned and flavorful. The tots were hot and crispy and sooo sooo yummy. We will be back very soon.

What is there to say, this is Big Jud's, if you know well then you know! This is a must visit place if you are passing through Rexburg from out of town, coming from Kelley Canyon or a local college student; while Big Jud's gets most of its reputation from word of mouth for its insanely large burgers (*Check the 1lb and 2lb Big Jud Burgers), the rest of the menu offerings are equally appetizing! Yes they have a food challenge with a wall to properly commentate it! Big Jud's was also featured on Man Vs. Food with Adam Richmond a number of years ago, but that just adds to its fame in putting it on the map. Pictured here is one of the double stacked (hickory burgers) well worth it! Highly recommend the tater tots as well, some of the best I've ever had! I've been several times to this location, usually service is pretty fast considering how busy it is, although there are limited places to sit inside. Not sure if you can call ahead to reserve seating. Menu prices are pretty consistent with what you are getting on a fair basis; flavor is superb and this definitely hits the spot as a small town sit down place. Hands down one of the best burger joints I've ever been too, add it to the list!
