Very Disappointed: Here is why two stars..On yesterday which was Nov 9,2024. I ordered a Jack plate which came with two sides. My sides chosen, was spaghetti and okra. I did not want potato salad, because I do not eat it, but instead of spaghetti there was potato salad, if you run out of a particular side..Then don't include another side unless specified in order, because the customer ordering on line can then get his/her money back if they don't receive what they paid for. Next, a catfish nugget plate, in which fries and onion rings were chosen for its side order. And a separate side order of these slim like fried potatoes. Here is the most huge problem for me, 1 small PKG, of condiment was in that huge bag. Which included, a ketchup, a hot sauce, and I believe maybe a tarter sauce.. With my order it should have come with at least six ketchups and 6 hotsauce and napkins, no napkins, not a one, adding condiments is a plus and will always add up in points given.. One absolute good thing that is a plus, is your order...

Big shout out to Grand Marais Lighthouse restaurant owner, cook, and hostesses on yesterday (January 14) for opening their doors to accommodate my sister, Georgette's birthday dinner. Were they was going to close because of weather, staffing and shortage of food due to a big party the night before they opened their doors for us. Food was delicious with only 1 cook, service was exceptional with only 2 hostesses and they got all our orders correct in a timely matter. I thank you for your hospitality and everything you did to make our eating experience great. Can't wait to get Soul Food Sunday back because my church, North End M.B.Church, 463 N. 88th Street, E. The food was good and fresh. The area we were in was HOT! The server we had was extremely slow as well as forgetful. We literally had to ask at least four times before she "remembered" we had asked for refills. Those of us who did request refills only got one the whole time we were there and finally just gave up asking. Not once did this lady smile and she looked as if she was irritated that we were there. This was disappointing because we had been to thls place a few times before and hadn't had bad...
