Park Bistro at Kickapoo State Park — Restaurant in Illinois

Spent 20 dollars on two burgers for me and my girlfriend and they were the worst burgers we had ever had it tasted rotten and microwaved both me and my gf spit it out on the first bite. We asked for a refund and they refused and said the best they could do was replace it with a hotdog that was decent but still didn’t make up for the money I spent on the burgers since the hot dog was way cheaper to begin with. overall the park was great had a great time tubing and I would recommend anyone to come float on the river or camp, but don’t buy the burgers...

What a lovely unique experience! I am a full-time RVer and have been for over 30 years and I have never seen a restaurant like this in a state park. You can sit under an umbrella with a lovely view of a lake while sipping a margarita and eating delicious food. I am a vegetarian and I ordered the cheese sticks and the bruschetta and I’ve got to tell you the bruschetta is a delight! First and foremost, the atmosphere is inviting and vibrant. The decor is tasteful, creating a lively environment perfect for whether you’re out with friends, on a date, or having a family meal. Cole was a tentative friendly, and extremely personable. The owners genuinely care and the staff truly set this place apart.
