I called myself supporting a black owned business and it got me nowhere. Today is my son birthday and I asked him what he wanted to eat, he said this place following the recommendations on instagram. I called in an order to the location on 69th and king drive around 1230 pm today and told them that I was pickup up around 430-445. Drove all the way from the west side just to pull up at 440 and see a cardboard sign on the door saying they were closed due to a power outage. I checked the instagram page and it said the same. I know y'all couldn't predict that the power would go out but being a business if you know you have call in orders why wouldn't you contact your customers and let them know what's going on. The food here is fire!🔥 I stumbled across this spot today, I tried the Jerk chicken Philly, and seasoned fries. The sandwich was a bit spicy but the flavor was great and the fries were awesome. My daughter tried the wings and chicken fried rice. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. Lastly my Sonny tried their double cheeseburger. It looked like a Big Mac from the early 90’s. I had heard so much about this place. I thought I’d try it. I went there at least two or three times and it was closed outside of advertise hours. Finally was able to experience it today and what a wasted time. The fish was thin and hard , The little tiny lettuce that was on there was wilted beyond be eaten.
