Wendy's — Restaurant in Illinois

If NEGATIVE STARS were possible, they'd get -10!! We ordered our food & as we paid, the young man "Ethan" made a remark that "its messed up you don't let him get anything & he has to pay for it" meaning my husband. To which I replied "that's OUR money, so don't make assumptions" while trying to laugh it off. When we stepped away, both my husband & I commented between ourselves how rude it was. To get to the point.. the 2 young boys who called themselves Ethan & Lance are an EXTREMELY POOR representation of Wendy's. They told us AFTER paying, that they were out of chicken nuggets at 6:30pm. They refused to refund our money staying that they aren't allowed because their corporate told them they issue too many refunds. The one called Lance went to the back to get the District Managers info but miraculously found more chicken nuggets. The one called Lance tossed my bag to me on the counter & 3 other customers actually commented on how bad of an attitude he had. When we asked again for the District Manager information, "Lance" acted deaf & " Ethan" got mad that I asked his name & tried to intimidate the kind young lady, Hannah, working so she wouldn't provide it. Worst mistake was when I walked into the doorway with my husband all you seen was a heep of trash Palling up and the tables where not cleaned off the seats were not cleaned up, for the most part I do understand how busy it can get but when you have 7 or 8 employees just standing next to the fry machine while one person is taking the orders who would think I get paid to hold up the fry station instead of actually working to get your 13-15 dollar an hour job then when I asked for a rag to clean up the table they looked at me as if I asked them to do it. This Wendy's drastically drags down what is a nice Road Ranger. Went in at 2030, ordered 5 kids burgers and a drink. My three and my son's two were all completely burned to hell. They were inedible. Beyond that though, the staff was running around and yelling curse words all over the place like they were in a high school classroom with no teacher. The guy taking orders wasn't even wearing anything that says he works there at all. I heard them tell the guy behind me that it would be ”a 16 minute wait for chicken because they cook it to order now"...SIXTEEN MINUTES. He could have told the truth and just said they didn't want to cook it. This place is an absolute disgrace to the typical Wendy's quality and service and a total detriment to the Road Ranger it is in.
