After parking and walking in, you get the feeling of a family run eatery. Almost immediately, we were greeted by the only person we could see, the waitress. She seemed nice and informed us that only breakfast was being served, which is why we stopped in. There were many items with different options on the menu. After about 5 minutes, my wife and I decided to try multiple different mixes. She had a sausage and cheese omelette, hash browns, biscuits and gravy along with coffee. I had pancakes, a bacon, sausage, egg and cheese omelette, hash browns, a multi-meat with multi-cheese breakfast sandwich and tea. After a little bit, the waitress came over, refilled our drinks and asked if we needed anything. We said no. She smiled, put our check on the table and walked away. I enjoyed everything I ate and helped my wife eat over half the biscuits and gravy. She wasn't as happy as I was but she did like her hash browns. We continually looked around as we ate and noticed the paint on the dingy white walls had been peeling for at least a decade. The floors ( linoleum ) looked as though even if you scrubbed them with the best cleaning solution, they would never be white again. The corners of the floor ( odd how many corners ) had pushed in food, grime and whatever else was being " swept or mopped ". After we ate, my wife went to the ladies room only to find a nasty looking slime and pee on the toilet seat. She said the walls were peeling and the same gunk was in the corners as in the eating area. Grossed out, she asked me to check the men's room. I walked in there and noticed that the walls were also peeling and the same gunk was in the corners but otherwise pretty clean. When I came back out I let her know and we waited for our waitress to come and cash us out. Funny thing, we never seen our waitress again. After about five minutes, I noticed a register at the bar and walked up to it, figuring someone would come out so I could pay my bill. No one did. If we weren't honest and a Christian couple, we could have walked out without paying. We are though. Waiting again, I waved down someone in the kitchen. She came out looking confused. I told her I was wanting to pay our bill and she asked where the waitress was. I let her know we hadn't seen her for quite awhile. She looked around the restaurant with a puzzled look then looked at me with the same puzzled look. She shook her head and cashed me out. My family has driven by this restaurant for the last 5 years and I always said we need to eat there. The kids were at school so my wife and I did. We...
