Biggby Coffee — Restaurant in Independence

I think the staff’s attitude is great and welcoming here. I do get a better experience with the taste of my coffees and some food menu items at this location than others. However, the wait you have to go through at this location is such a huge downfall. Waited almost 15 minutes behind 2 cars. Never even got to the speaker. Cars were shifting to park. At the speaker they even parked because they were waiting on someone to get their order. Huge gap at the speaker versus the car at the window. Had to drive off or else my son was going to be late for school. Each time my boyfriend or I try to swing by in the mornings it’s been that way. I should’ve tried to get there earlier, but it stinks I have to leave my house 20-30 minutes earlier just to make sure I can make it to our destinations in time if I stop for a coffee or donuts for my son. Enjoy going to Biggby for my caffeine fix and occasionally grabbing breakfast. It started off great but after the last few months this location seems to be struggling. Been having issues with order between menu and window having to constantly repeat or correct the order at the window, sometimes entire drinks or snacks being missed and have to either take the loss or correct it. Hopefully it improves I know they are a busy location and seem to usually only have one or two people working at a time which must get frustrating for the employees when the line is 10+ cars deep. Have also noticed difference in sizes of things like the bagels sandwiches between this and other locations and some consistency issues with coffees tasting different even when you order the same menu drink (you know the general reason to avoid places...

We stopped at Biggby Coffee on Turkeyfoot today and were waited on by the sweetest young woman. I believe her name was Sarah. She cheerfully asked if we wanted to add any extra flavoring or shots, then made the kindest, most genuine conversation with us while we waited for our drinks. She has such a warm, caring demeanor. It truly brightened our entire day!

With over 17 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, and management, I can confidently say this was an absolute treat. It’s rare to see such sincere kindness and professionalism, especially from someone so young. She is a gem and such a wonderful representative of your company. 🌟
