Chuck Wagons BBQ & Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Indiana Township

Terrible! First time there, walked in, not knowing you had to go to the window to order. The gentleman dining in was the one that told us we had to go to the window to place order. Got to the window, placed our order. The girl was semi helpful. Felt as though we were bothering her, but she was nice. We went to the table and sat and waited for our food. Got it and it was TERRIBLE!!! The ribs came out as pink as pink could be. Didn't even waste time eating them. The mac and cheese was awful, the noodles were all soggy and it has no taste to it at all! The "pit master" came over to the table, asked if it was our first time and how everything was, we responded "it was ok" and he said good and walked away. No interest in hearing what we thought, if there was anything he could do, anything we needed. I should of responded "first and last time" when he asked if it was our first time there. We ended up throwing half our food away, we went to leave and not one worker there spoke to us as they watched us walk out the door. I was so excited to try this place! I saw it on a FB post and decided to come after work the next day. Honestly this place is so over priced, I’m actually disappointed I spent the money I did. The brisket is so unbelievably dry, and there was no flavor to it. For $14 a side should have been included because the portions are not big! My boyfriend did enjoy his Philly cheesesteak but said it wasn’t worth the $16. I personally won’t be back, but hope improvements are made so maybe others could have a better experience than we did. 2 months open and this place is KILLING it! Incredibly friendly service, very timely food delivery, and fantastic outdoor seating.

Now to the food - we ordered the small family feast with pork and brisket, ribs, brussel sprouts and hot apples on the side. Everything was SO DELICIOUS, all homemade from scratch, and my kids also gobbled it up. The owner Brandon came out to check on us and ended up letting us try the chicken nuggets (insanely good, fried in tallow), and the homemade banana pudding.
