Moderately busy but took 40 minutes to get a bottle of wine & other drinks then was given wrong bottle, when waitress took incorrect bottle, returned to say they ‘couldn’t find wine we ordered so gave us wine list / waited 15 minutes for her to return to give waitress new wine selection only for her to say they had miraculously found originally requested wine which she brought after another 15 minutes- now more than hour into our dinner (had received only salads at this point) - wine bottle was brought to table ALREADY OPENED - my guess is they found empty bottle & filled with house wine….baked potatoes were ice cold, pasta side was very bland, salmon had no flavor - prices were high given food quality. We DID tip but only 10% of food cost (less wine) AND, bill was incorrect- prices higher than disclosed on menu which I requested (nicely) they fix (they did) but overall experience was awful. The worst restaurant I’ve ever been in this country. I asked for the salmon dish without the sauce because of my allergy. And they gave me a piece of salmon with no seasoning at all and a plain baked potato. I had to season the salmon myself just to make it slightly more eatable. My mother ordered a lasagne and it was bland. Seriously, I’m no chief but I could cook MUCH better food then the dishes I ordered here. Also, it took them FOURTY-FIVE minutes to cook a piece of salmon with NO seasoning and lasagna. The service was also beyond terrible like what the others said. The entire meal cost fourty dollars, which is just ridiculous for the quality of food they offer. The people here who rated four or five stars are just sad. Jim the owner greets each of his customers at the front counter...then seats you. He is a hands on persona. Our server this evening greeted us & said she was Kiersten and would be taking care of us this evening. Results: we asked from wine being served to appetizer , salad and meal courses, we would like time between. She adhered to our every wish. Her service was sublime. Outstanding Valentine's evening.
