The restaurant has a warm, upscale atmosphere. Our servers were friendly, but not super attentive. We had to wait on refills but our food was served quickly. The complimentary soft bread was good but the "chips" cheapened the meal. We ordered the chop salad and Caesar salad and both were served warm. The Caesar salad was terrible. It had a strange after taste, but the flavor of the chop salad was ok. The sear on the steaks were really good and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were so tasty; 2nd best I've ever had! The mac & cheese was bland. Tasted like too much cream was added, which took away any taste of cheese. The chocolate cake was ok, but I don't believe it is made in house. It's reminiscent of a Malones chocolate cake. We were also served with a complimentary dessert which was a tempered chocolate cup filled with whipped cream topped with chocolate and strawberry sauce. It was pretty but not appetizing for us to eat a cup of whipped cream. Overall we enjoyed checking this restaurant off our list but will not return (we drove over 2 hours just to try...

My mother wanted to go somewhere fancy for her birthday so to make a night of it I took her here and to the casino. When I made the reservation, I noted it was for a birthday, at check in the hostess asked whose birthday and acknowledged it however the server never bothered. The first impression was positive, it had a lovely atmosphere but that was about the only remarkable thing. The server was snooty and his helper really did all the work, if it wasn’t for the helper having to share the tip I would have tipped a lot less. We did not feel welcome at all. The food was just mleh- I couldn’t even eat my filet it was tough, and the flavor was not great I had to douse it in A1 just to get down half took the other half home and fed it to my dog, my daughter and I got our steaks cooked the same yet mine was super pink and hers was almost well done. The Asparagus was too tough to eat and mac and cheese was mushy. Only good thing was the lobster tail. Not once did the server ask how our meal was. Overall a terrible experience and I regret spending my...

Unfortunately this time I only give them one star because there were not good things about the whole experience. We have dined many times at 19 and last time the food was not great as other times but this time it was disappointing. From the time we got there it seem really hectic and we had requested Leslie as our server and we did not get her. Our server was not friendly at all and did not ask if we were celebrating something ( we were), the moment that we did not order alcoholic drinks right away he forgot about us, took our order, brought it to us and never saw him again, took him forever to come back and never asked us if we wanted dessert, he brought us the check and gave him my players card because I knew I had a food credit and that really annoyed him! We are really good tippers, usually 30% but this time we left 15% even though he did not deserve it. We ordered the seafood fettuccine, the scallops and shrimp were so small and the pasta super dry, not a good...

3 days a week, they have an early bird special with 3 courses for $50. My main issue with the entire meal was that everything was too salty starting with the otherwise very nice bread service. The olive oil is served in a bowl which is too deep so you can't incorporate the vinegar. It should be on a shallow flat dish or skipped. You get to pick from all 3 salads, the wedge lettuce was very crisp and cold and it was loaded with bacon and blue cheese. The filet was super tender and prepared to the right degree, but the salt was a real distraction. Don't get me wrong, I know salt is important to season food but someone can always add more at the table. Service was friendly and accommodating, but not well paced. Entree came out before salad finished. Decor perfectly fine.

An exquisite meal in small-town Indiana! Outstanding food, impeccable service, and a top-class, romantic atmosphere! Very nice bread and butter to start, and then the pork belly is the best we've ever had, wonderfully flavorful and rendered with the perfect ratio of meat and fat, an absolute must-try! French onion soup was very good as well, and house salad looks a little dull, but then is surprisingly amazingly seasoned and delicious! Very nice crab cakes and remoulade, and outstanding sauce on the beef bourguignon. Didn't get a pic, but bone-in filet mignon special was fantastic, perfectly prepared in every way. Cinnamon roll bread pudding was a perfect punctuation to the meal! Probably can't go wrong with anything on the menu, kitchen clearly knows what they are doing.
