Dairy Dip — Restaurant in Indiana

I’ve given this place multiple chances because their food is so good but tonight was the last straw. To start it off I called to place my order at 7:13 P.M, and was put on hold for 6 minutes, wasn’t a problem, I understand the place gets busy thats why I alway call my orders in. I place my order and get told that it will be 20 minutes so I head over to dairy dip around 7:30. When we get there an employee comes to our vehicle, we pay, and we are told that it will be another 10 minutes which was fine, we were in no rush and the place was pretty busy. Well, we wait, and wait, and wait, and at 8:00 another employee comes over and asks if we have been waited on yet. I told her we have been waiting for our food for a while and we are wondering how much longer it will be and she says she saw it sitting inside but didn’t know which car it was for and thatd shed go grab it for us and she did. On the phone I asked for extra garlic butter and pepperocinis with our pizza because it was for a few people and they forgot our extra garlic butter. Again not a problem so I go and ask for it. The employee asks for my receipt, which I show her and it says extra garlic butter on, and she says oh you weren’t charged for it so, very rudely, as if I’m not going to get it even though it’s on the ticket??? This prompted a back and forth between the employee and I because I didn’t do anything wrong? I ordered it and YOU made the mistake of not charging me for it. She ended up rolling her eyes at me and saying she’d get it for free but that next time it won’t happen again. All over a garlic butter??? When I didn’t even make a mistake???? I wasn’t trying to cause issues because I understand working in food service, as I have, but if a mistake is made on the employee’s end it is supposed to be made right without the customer being blamed for it. I haven’t had a single positive experience with the employees here but this one was the worst. On top of always being told the wrong wait times for my food and them having no organization with their ordering process/ which cars get waited on first I am hesitant to visit this...

This review isn’t about the food. The food is affordable and the quality for a place like this is actually really decent. What this review is about leans towards the uneasiness and how uncomfortable my wife and I felt when coming here. Keep in mind from this review posting this would be our third time coming to “Dairy Dip”. And the first two times we were greeted nicely and asked if we need any help deciding. But for some reason this time around the experience was different. We placed our order like we usually do when we arrive . As we were waiting for our food we notice other customers arriving minutes after we did and got their food while we were still waiting for our food. Then when asked to pay we were told the amount but when doing the calculations of our order it wasn’t making sense at all. We inform the individual who took “care” of us. Our calculations going off their prices totaled up to a smaller amount then what we had originally paid for. When told this they insisted they didn’t know how they came up with the numbers and admitted that they didn’t calculate right. But couldn’t do anything about it. We asked for an actually receipt from the POS system that takes the orders and was told they can not provide us with it. To top it all off we were getting weird ignorant looks that didn’t make us anymore comfortable.

Please if you are a minority don’t be afraid to try this establishment out but please be mindful of the deception of your invoice. Double check food...

Horrible service !! Went on my break to grab a quick BLT and fries and they took 5 minutes to even come take my order, they went up to a car that arrived after me first. Then I’m waiting 20 minutes for my food they over charged me and didn’t even bring my change. Got the other guys food out to him but I had to walk up to get mine. Then I was out of time so I couldn’t even eat so I asked for a refund. They ran there mouth and was disrespectful saying I wasted food !! Tried to give me less money back than I paid them and still got smart when I corrected them for giving me less money back!! I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE COME BACK THERE!!!
