So, Here I am back again (original post below this one) and I am doubly-satisfied. I had Rachel. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal (one pound ground with potatoes and gravy, and filling salad and raspberry cheesecake. Yum.) But to top it off, there was Rachel. Fun personality, attentive to your needs, and just like the rest of the waitstaff I saw, kept a good natured feel about the room. This place is a nice stop if only for the people here, but the food has always been good and the restaurant clean. Can't wait to be around this area again...it's like you make a new friend every time through! Thank you Rachel :-) And IronSkillet...keep doing what you are doing :-) Thanks!.

Four words. Good food - Great Waitress. (Sam). When I get the all-you-can-eat bar at a nice location like this Iron Skillett, I am pretty much used to having the waitress check with me twice...once for drinks, once with the check. Sam was so different. At least 5?times or more she would come by with a "still okay over here?" usually accompanied with additional nice conversation. She didn't have to do that (and most don't). She did it because she obviously cares about her customers. I very much appreciated making her acquaintance today.

I will add that the store is bright and well lit, the windows were clean, the salad/food bar is kept stocked, and the floors are clean as well. Traveling the country brings a lot of surprises when trying to sit down for a meal... and I did enjoy this one... but it was Sam that took the experience to a Dining-type level.

Thank You Iron Skillet, and thanks to who ever here who has a good skill for hiring...

Ordered scramble eggs with cheese and corned beef hash and what I got was an omelette cut into pieces drier than sand, with no cheese and cornbeef hash with a “going bad” smell to it. It would’ve been a health hazard eating this trash. After experiencing this type of service and nasty food, nothing else needs to be said. No one follows directions here.

How tf are you going to give a customer the total opposite of what they ordered and paid extra for?

I’m gonna act out the next time y’all waste my energy and time. Next time I’m going inside and getting a full refund. I’m tired of being nice to ignorant no education having folks that play with your time and money.

PS: by the looks of the pictures of the so-called scrambled eggs on here It looks like you need to retrain your cook.

Here make the cook read and memories this.

Scrambled eggs are made from eggs, salt, and some kind of fat, like butter or oil. You can also add milk or water, and other ingredients like cheese.

Salt: A pinch of salt helps eggs retain moisture and tenderness.

Fat: Butter or oil to cook the eggs in.

Milk or water: Adds creaminess or fluffiness to the eggs. You can add up to 1 tablespoon of milk or water per egg.

Preparation Stir, whip, or beat the eggs together.

Add salt and other ingredients.

Heat the eggs in the pan until the proteins coagulate and form curds.

Management teacher waitresses to repeat the order back to the customers and finalize the order by asking the patrons if that...

We went there after traveling all day in my fiancees tractor trailer. We normally love eating there but this time not so much. Our server was super nice but the food was terrible. We normally get the buffet but upon looking at the buffet the food look like it sat all day and nothing was refilled so we decided to order from the menu they didn't have what I actually wanted so I got their chicken alfredo and my fiancée got their pot roast dinner with mashed potatoes and the pot roast was described in the menu to have carrots and broccoli and that's it. We waited an hour for our food only for my fiancée to get a cold slimy so called pot roast that had squash green beans and broccoli in it and the mashed potatoes were not even cooked fully! With still full pieces of potatoes as for my meal it was okay but the alfredo sauce was a bit too strong and smelled awful. Our server was so great and compensated us for the meals. We still tipped our server because she was great and went above and beyond. If you go to this particular iron skillet if you see a skinny girl with black and purple hair don't get...

The Iron Skillet had great service from our waitress and was a typical diner atmosphere. I got their omelet with sausage, spinach, and American cheese and hasbrowns. Their hashbrowns were fantastic! They were crispy and had great flavor but were very greasy. The omlete was also in a puddle of grease. I ended up putting napkins under them and soaked through 3 napkins. I have heard good things about their hot choclate and other food but this was the first time I have gone there so I haven't tried anything else. It was also pricey for breakfast. For two of us, it cost just shy of $50 and all we got was an entree, pop, and coffee. I will probably go again to give it another shot but was not impressed my first time.
