Johnny’s Grub to Go is right off the road from Bloomington to Nashville. The woman taking our order was very friendly. We ordered the Pancit and an Asian Rice Bowl. The Pancit with breaded pork was good. The pork was the highlight of the dish. The noodles were good as well but did not have any distinct flavor. The egg rolls and crab rangoons served with the combo meal were both good. The Asian rice bowl with crispy chicken was not what we expected. The chicken was not Asian style, and the sauce being served on the side of each dish makes it hard to get flavor throughout the dish. They do have a nice area around the corner from where you order where you can sit and eat your food.

Ginger made an absolutely gorgeous cake for my birthday. I sent her some inspiration pics, and she totally delivered! Definitely the prettiest cake I’ve ever had. The cake flavors were ube and coconut, and both flavors were very distinguishable. The cake was super soft and moist, even after a few days of it being in the fridge! I would highly recommend Johnny’s Grub to Go for all of your cake needs. Ginger is amazing at what she does! It is truly an art.

The owners are wonderful! A wonderful Filipino lady, Ginger and her hubby. The food was amazing. Pork belly, Rangoon, lumpia, halo halo. My wife and daughter, both Filipinos, we're in heaven. I had the double cheeseburger with jalapeños, fries and jalapeño poppers. Home cooked, the way it would be fixed for the family, in the Philippines. Well worth the trip and visit. BTW, we traveled 90 minutes to come here.

Everytime I have driven through brown county out of Bloomington I pass this place, and I consider stopping to check it out! Not going to lie, it looks “sketchy” from the outside, but the food is what you want! My friends and I ate here before hiking and all of us enjoyed the cuisine & food. I got the Pancit with Grilled Pork & GT sauce! The sauce was delicious with a little kick (I love spicy, so it was perfect. I’d grade it a 3/5 on spice level.)

My friends got the pork Adobo which they enjoyed with rice. It was beautifully seasoned and you could tell it had been Marinated well! Another friend got something with breaded and fried pork over noodles! Delicious & crunchy! Overall, I wanna go back next weekend and get more! Well...

I ate here for the first time this Friday. We ordered Pork adobo, chicken rice bowl combo(spicy), Pancit with tofu, and French fries for my son. Oh, lort, Sooooooo good. Between my mother and I, we ate this for 2 days! So much food and flavor. I was highly impressed. The chicken and crab Rangoon ,which came with the combo, was drool-worthy. The woman was so nice and I enjoyed being served by her. My only complaint is that the pork was rather dry. The tofu and the chicken were over-the-top. I’ve heard great reviews of their American food as well. Wish they were open a bit later. Get them...
