In town for a little trip, and decided to go here for dinner. The reviews looked good, including the pictures of the food; so we decided to give it a try. I got the onion petal appetizer and the potato skins appetizer, steak with a side of grilled shrimp entree, a glass of Malbec red wine, and the triple chocolate cake for dessert.
The appetizers were okay. They came out hot, but definitely nothing to write home about. The steak (ordered medium rare) was cooked correctly, but was extremely bland and chewy (which is upsetting considering it’s advertised in the menu as tender). I ALWAYS finish my steak-and don’t usually complain- but boy was it disappointing- I did not finish it. The grilled shrimp on the side (which said usually comes breaded but our waitress said I was able to have it grilled, so I chose that option!) was unseasoned, and felt like it was warmed up in the microwave. I ate it, but it was because I was having a really hard time with the price of everything, considering how terrible it was.
The wine was actually very delicious. It had a sweeter initial taste (but not too sweet), and left that bit of spice taste in your mouth after swallowing. Soooooo good! (This makes me feel like you should just go for drinks, if you go!)
The triple chocolate cake, we were told comes frozen from a Chicago bakery; you can definitely tell it was previously frozen. It wasn’t bad, but I definitely wouldn’t pay $9 for it again. Maybe $3 (at most).
My friends and husband also did not enjoy their food- and we are nooooot picky people! Heck, look at my other reviews!!
Our waitress was amazing. Checked on us the perfect amount of times. She was friendly, timely, and made us feel at home!
All this to say- the food is not worth the money. Maybe go for drinks. The review is not meant to bash, but to hopefully let this establishment know how to do better. (And also warn people before spending their vacation budget...
Read moreWonderful restaurant in a picturesque setting. We had a great waitress named Tabitha who helped us pick the best options from the menu, and was very friendly and prompt.. My husband had seared tuna, my daughter had salmon with dill sauce, my son had fettuccine Alfredo and I had a giant half rack of ribs. They served really good rolls with garlic on them. We all had a choice of side salad, spinach salad with warm bacon dressing which was excellent, or soup. My daughter had the lobster bisque which she really liked. My son had dulce de leche cheesecake for dessert which was amazing. We all really enjoyed our meals, and will definitely...

Our waitress was beyond friendly and attentive. I just LOVED the food and experience. We live about an hour and 15 minutes away but I told my husband I would like to take a drive just to have dinner there again!! We...
