Subway — Restaurant in Indiana

Should be ashamed of themselves... ordered a roastbeef footlong.. server never washed or sanitized his hands. Nor did he put gloves on... starts cutting the bread and places the meat,cheese on it... then proceeds to ask me my choice of toppings..... I said lettuce, we don't have any, I said seriously???? He said yes... I said OK then give me tomato, same thing said, and then told me the same about cucumbers, pickles plus i also noticed that what they did have available was open and never covered.... I said buddy are you messing with me or are you serious.... said to me that we haven't had topping for awhile now...... I was livid.. I said get me a manager, what type of business runs a sub shoo like this deceiving customers and knowing you don't have the necessary items available to properly run and make a decent sub?????? This is totally...

This subway was gross... Not sure where to start so I'll start with the flies ... Nothing was covered and the flies pretty much did what they pleased and that included landing on my sandwich as they prepared it as well as all the toppings which I mentioned before as they were uncovered

The first sandwich was made with bread they already had outside of the bread case not sure how long it was there

The produce was far from fresh both trays of lettuce were browning the only thing that looked semi fresh were the tomato and cucumbers

The containers that held the produce weren't very clean either the silver edges were pretty dirtied with I'm not sure what

The employees were nice at least I only give one star on...

I asked for a Spicy Italian on white bread, the person who waited on me argued about what goes on the sandwich. He's only been here a few weeks, I get this sandwich frequently. He refused to make it correctly. I asked for it to be lightly toasted, he burned it black on top. He refused to ring it up as a meal. All of this is my fault for accepting this behavior. I should've told him to forget it and leave. But I'm a truck driver. There is nowhere else I can go.
