Took way too long to get my garden salad. They even had one ready (premade) and it took the lady way too long to get it from the refrigerator 10 feet away. When I asked what dressing they had the lady seemed put out that I didn't know them by heart and she had to read them from the screen in front of her.
I ate in and I was not the only one that had to wait. There was a guy there before me waiting on chicken for his salad and it had to be a full 20 mins before he got it handed to him.
In the end I was there 2.5 to 3 hours working on stuff and was amazed at the slowness and the number of missed sales. Most of the missed sales were from the fact that many drivers wanted hamburgers or other non-breakfast foods. The lady said to them all that they normally serve both, but since there was only 2 employees working that they were only serving breakfast. Really don't understand that reasoning myself. I use to work in a deli and we served our full menu from open to close and we only had 1-2 people working at certain times and they managed.
They really need to retrain or replace their early...
Read moreI love Wendy's chili. It's the best of any of the fast food chains. I'm a truck driver that stops weekly at this Wendy's at the Fremont, IN Pilot truck stop to top off my tanks before going home. On Thurs, April 18, at 9pm, I ordered two large chili's to go. After paying and given my receipt, I stood there while the gentleman went to get my two chili's, only to discover that there was NO chili in the heated container. He went to several other employees to see what to do, then went to the office. He came back and said they would have to heat up some more chili and if I could wait 10 minutes. I said no, I was blocking a fuel lane and needed to be back on the road. I told them the chili didn't need to be hot, as I would be taking it 30 miles to my home and be heating it up anyways. They said they couldn't sell it cold and refunded my money.
Somebody dropped the ball when they served the last chili in the container and didn't tell anyone that they needed more heated up. For a 24-hour restaurant at a truck stop, there should ALWAYS have a supply...
Read moreAlways love Wendy's nuggets ever since I was a teenager so that's that's not no issues but I like my burgers made fresh I love to see me but they got it so closed off now you can't really see nothing just a bunch of deep fryers so with that said the Nuggets is always a go-to something quick nuggets and some fries and maybe a water or drink or something like that you know be careful though with these truck stops because they're iced tea sometimes the tea is bad and they use liquid sugar to sugar their tea what I usually do is I usually get the unsweetened tea and use the regular cane sugar and it's not really cane sugar it's bleach sugar they say it's not bleached but how does sugar get white sugar is not white when it comes from the field but anyway be careful with that and those soda machines and stuff like that cuz you don't know if they clean them good or not they can lie and say they do but nonetheless even with unsweetened tea sometimes the tea is bad and it can turn your stomach really bad and you'll be finding yourself making plenty of stops...
