Anticuchos were really big, and great taste. Some people might agreed that they were a little over seasoned, but to my taste there were good. No huancaína sauce (This is a must have in any peruvian restaurant) Our server acted as if he had no clue what it was Huancaína sauce. My anticuchos plate came out and my wife vegetarian sandwich came out 12 minutes after my dish. Not acceptable..Her sandwich was more for a picture than anything. Loaded with avocado and lettuce, very little sweet potato slices, and bread was too hard. Alfajores were really good. I wish we could have order more.
Overall experience, I gave it a 3. Anticuchos and Alfajores were really good. Wait on food it was too long nearly 25minutes and 37 for my wife's sandwich. No Huancaína sauce, atmosphere (not clean, cables everywhere)
Sorry but I have to give my honest opinion. BTW I'm Peruvian and my wife...
Read moreThe staff was incredible and our food was amazing! We shared the Chicharron sampler. Then I got the Don Juan sandwich it was huge! I could only eat half of one half. I do agree that the bun could be a little bigger. Or maybe a second one offered on the side. Kyle had the Asda sandwich, he said it was great as well. We always let each other try what we order, even if it's just one bite. He was down to his last bite when I asked, are you not sharing today? We both laughed and he said sorry, there's a little piece left in the bowl if you want to taste it. It was really good as well! As far as alcohol drinks, they only have beer. This is something they could expand on, even if it's just wine. However they do offer a purple drink ( I can't remember the name of it ) that was delicious as well.
Thank you for great food, great service and a nice...
Read moreIf you didn't know it was there you wouldn't know it was there, but let me tell you, you'd probably be like me and wish you knew about it sooner. I tried the pork, beef and fish all in different ways. The juicy thin slices of pork laid on top of a slice of sweet potato topped with purple onion was delicious. Pair it with the green sauce to give it a little spice. On to the beef sandwich, with the perfect amount of sauce, onions and tomatoes with the bun each bite has that bold and savory pop of flavor. The fish sandwich was one of its own. A nice piece of white fish on a bed romaine lettuce topped with purple onion and amazing tartar sauce all in a nice bun. The tamal wasn't for me but if you like trying new things you shouldn't pass it by. From the dinning room area being so inviting and homey feeling to the employees and food this place is a...
