All I have to say is "WOWZERS". My night at The Inn was so stunning, mysterious and intimidating; writing this letter I am truly in AWE. I was in dire need of a 5 star hotel when arriving to indianpolis one evening at 5:43pm. I searched high and low for an inn to rest my weary and cautious mind, and like Mary, was turned away by rude and corrupt politicians each time i knocked on a door of anything that remotely resembled a hotel. I was exhausted by 6:23pm, and ready to just sleep in the refrigerator at a gas station. However, out of the corner of my eye, I saw The Inn (as the locals say). I crept up to the front desk and begged for a room. I sobbed, threw up from heat exhaustion, and plead with the young man working the front desk, offering him my pinkie in return for a humble cot. He insisted that I did not need to give him my finger, so instead I worked as the greeter at The Inn for 4 years in exchange for a room for one night. I paid $328 for my cot, and I can say with honesty that it is indeed the best money ive spent. No one has ever been so kind to me as the General himself. Meeting him meant the world to me. The rooms- complete with 1 cot and a small tub of room-temperature water- were ideal and lavish. Dr Tso (commonly known as General Tso) came into my room and tucked me in as tight as he could that night, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff was so gracious and loving to me. I cannot reccomend this beautiful Inn ENOUGH. Please. Do whatever you can to stay here. You will thank...
Read moreI've been ordering here for years. I've never seen any of the employees that were working here today, I'm not sure if General Tso's Inn is under new ownership, if not the owners need to know they are being ripped off. I noticed that my bill was extremely higher than normal and called General Tso' when I got home. I have about half an hour drive. I asked of menu items had raised in prices and was told they had never raised prices. I then asked for a price on every item I ordered. Everything was 50 cents to almost $2.00 higher than the printed menu and the menu online. My bill should have been $45.20 with tax according to the menu. It would have been $53.23 to the prices they quoted me over the phone but they charged me $63.21. So, i was over charged by $18. Guess what General Tso's...you're messed up thieves! You will not longer get our business! Are you all here legally, criminals will...
Read moreFirst time customer will be a repeat for sure. Food was outstanding. Egg roll one of the best I've ever had something so simple usually is subpar however it was excellent. Packaging for all of the takeout was done well tidy clean even details such as a napkin at the bottom of the crab rangoon to absorb moisture to keep them crisp in transit was a surprise and appreciated. You can tell that this Mom and Pop location cares deeply about quality and integrity in the work that they are doing. Well oiled machine staff each have a role and they are each doing it efficiently. Vegetable lo mein was outstanding, orange chicken awesome; even the traditional pork fried rice was exceptionally good. The bonus of a can of soda complimentary with each entree was so cool! All around fantastic experience and will be going back. Our new go to...
