I have been coming to this restaurant for 2 years now. I live very close. I speak a little Spanish, but I am by no means fluent. There used to be a woman who worked there who knew my name and always made sure my food was right. I haven't seen her in a while. Yesterday I called to place my usual order. I ordered it the same way I have every time over the last 2 years. I said I want a steak torta with everything, a side of fries, and a small cheese dip. They acted like they understood. Then I told them I wanted a special buritto and listed every ingredient I want in the buritto. Steak, rice, beans, lettuce, and cheese. That's it. They rand up a steak buritto nontomato no avocado. Not what I ordered. They just don't listen. When I got my meal, the fries were sitting in a bed of cheese and were soggy and gross. My burrito had sour cream in it in blobs. I DID NOT order sour cream. When I went back to get my order corrected, the girl behind the counter argued with me that I said fries with cheese (papas con queso). I explained that is not at all what I said. I even reitterated small cheese dip 3 times on the phone. Why would I be ordering a size of it if it was going on top? She proceeded to lectured me for 15 minutes about I need to say the word "apart" when ordering the fries and cheese. Make sure I say apart from the fries. She repeated herself 32 times like I'm an idiot. Then the other girl told me again before she would give me my food. My bf hadn't bitten into his buritto yet by this time because he was waiting for cheese sauce for the top. He didn't end up eating any of his buritto because his first bite had sour cream and he about threw up. Congratulations, Guanajuato. You've lost a good customer who lives a stone's throw away because you have the worst customer service staff I've ever experienced. I will never be back. The food is great, but it's not worth getting the wrong food and a lecture for no reason other than they didn't put the order in as I said it and they don't want to listen. Fire both of those women and hire the one who used to work there back and...
Read moreMy fiance went to the Oliver location to go buy menudo for the 1st time at this location. We usually go to the one on moller rd. But, we decided to go to Oliver this time since it was closer to home. We'll, the menudo tasted horrible. .. it had a taste of pure clamato juice .. more like shrimp cocktail. We called the store and asked for a refund . We even brought the container back to the restaurant since the manager kept saying that the menudo was fine and there was no issue. So, my fiance went back with the container and the manager instead of listening to our concerns she brought a sample from the kitchen and my fiance tasted it and said this one is completely different then the one in this container. . She offered to give us a new batch of menudo.. but at this point the experience of the food was horrible we asked for a refund and she denied the refund. Instead of arguing with her about the $30.00 dollars worth of food we will not be eating . He walked out . We've been a long time customer since the owner opened his 1st store in indianapolis and we usually shop at roller or shaleand st. Since their food is more taste full and have better management. Always a good experience with those two locations. But, Oliver location .. needs to get better cooks and...

FOOD Complimentary salsa for the table was fresh. Chips were good too.
The chicken fajitas that I got were not that good as there was a lack of flavor, which is surprising for Mexican food! No wonder my food came out so fast. It lacksd that char and deeply marinated, seasoning that I look for when ordering chicken fajitas.
SERVICE Service is ok but needs work. We had to flag down waitstaff for assistance. The waitress seemed...timid? She was quiet and didn't give any recommendations or suggestions. It was a bit awkward when I asked "Can I have diet coke?" and she replied "We don't have that" and did not say anything else. (No Pepsi products either, apparently, when I followed up). I really, REALLY wished she would have helped me by naming any of the drinks that they did serve because it was my first time there, and I literally did not know or see on the menu what drink options they had. Needless to say, I ended up...
