I frequent the McDonalds at 3021 Southeastern Ave in Indianapolis IN often because its convenient to work. I often get horrible service but again, its convenient. Today I placed my order on the mobile app. When I arrived there were two cars on the inside lane and none on the out so I pulled up to the outside speaker to wait for someone to acknowledge me and take my mobile code. No-one did. Two cars were served at the inside lane and I was just sitting there waiting. I almost pulled away when I was finally acknowledged. Then when I get to the window they hand me my drinks and tell me to park in a spot that is behind me. Its busy and the parking lot is full and I told them I would wait at the window rather than drive all the way around the restaurant again through the line and traffic. Plus last time they asked me to pull off they forgot me and after ten minutes I had to go inside - again I am on my 30 min lunch break when I go here. when I told the lady I would just wait at the window she rolled her eyes, threw her hands up in the air and made rude sounds at me. Another woman came and asked me to pull off again and I told her no and asked for the young woman's name that had just acted very rude to me and she refused to give it to. Then a young man came and said he was just going to refund my money and I said no I want my food. I will wait for my food. At which time I took a picture of the young lady since she wouldn't give me her name as I wanted to report her to corporate for horrible customer service. The young man then came back and tried to shove money at me and I told him I want my food and he told me that they wouldn't serve me because I took a picture and if I didn't leave he would call the police on me. I refused and said that I wanted my food - I didn't have time to go anywhere else and told him it was my freedom to take a picture if I wanted. Again he threatened me with the police and I honestly had half a mind to stay until they arrived as I did nothing wrong but didn't have time. This is HORRIBLE customer service - and yes being treated this way made me angry. I was in the hospitality industry for twenty years and would NEVER treat a customer like this. I am contacting corporate and the better...
Read moreI would give a zero star if possible. This is one of the worst McDonalds Ive been to. Every time I go here, without fail, they get my order wrong. Doesn't matter what I get, and I do eat here quite frequently, they mess it up. My usual order is a mcchicken with extra mayonnaise and extra extra extra pickle, and yes that is how I explain it to them over the intercom. Well for some reason they only put 2 pickles on the sandwich. They're is no excuse for this other than pure laziness. Not to mention I usually wait about 30 min on AVERAGE to get my food. One time I literally waited an hour with no refund or sorry for the slow service. Well today I got the guacamole pico LIME chicken sandwich, and there was no guacamole or pico or lime. Like this is what the sandwich is called, is it that hard to get the right ingredients on it? Then they finally had the fixed sandwich out but then continued to tell me they don't carry limes? WHAT? That's what makes the sandwich in my eyes and it's part of the NAME. I really wish there was a different McDonalds I could drive to that would give me better service, but unfortunately this is the one that is near me. All I want is for them to either train their staff or get a new one. It's really not that hard, I used to work in food. Some people are really dumb and these people top that list. Also when you tell them they messed up they get very rude even though I try to be respectfull because I know how much it sucks working in customer service but some people deserve to be yelled at. Don't go to this McDonalds this was the last straw for me id rather drive out of my way to not have to deal with...
Read moreSince I have to give at least one star that's what I'm doing. However, the reality is that I wanted to give 0 stars.
The last time I checked the field of Customer Service was about providing for the needs of customers. I got none of that today. My fiance ordered from McDonald's for the two of us and I ordered a Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddle, something I've been craving for a long time. Now the last I checked, when you can't provide something because it's the wrong time or you're out of something, it's considered the customer's right to know. The service provider is supposed to let the customer know that they can't do xyz because of abc.
My McGriddle order was completely removed from the order without any communication whatsoever. There was no phone call saying "Hey, I'm sorry, but it's lunch/dinner time now and the McGriddle can't be made anymore today." If they had called, I would have been more than happy to change my order as I understand there's usually different stove settings for breakfast vs lunch/dinner.
I've worked a few good years in the Customer Service industry and I know that what happened is NOT ok. It's rude, disrespectful, and atrocious service and I would NEVER do that to another person, and I don't even like dealing with people.
So I have no clue why y'all thought it was ok to just delete my order without any communication, and I assure you that it's not. If you can't do your job properly then find...
