OYEVIDA Lifestyle Cafe — Restaurant in Inver Grove Heights

I was really excited when I saw this place on DoorDash. The menu looked amazing and I love the healthy options. Now, I expect quality issues when I order delivery, cold food doesn’t bother me. My fiancé and I ordered two drinks, the breakfast burrito, the porridge and some toast. The toast and porridge were fine. The toast was actually really tasty. The breakfast burrito was terrible. The menu said there were eggs and sausage in it. All I got was a hard tortilla with weird meat pebbles, way too much cheese and spinach? There were no eggs in it. And the drinks… I ordered an iced chai latte and my fiancé got a pumpkin spice latte. I even added espresso to both drinks. What we received was iced milk and room temperature milk. I’m not kidding, there was no coffee or chai flavor to these drinks.

Maybe breakfast isn’t the way to go here because their other menu items look awesome, but this was extremely disappointing. The least I would expect is decent coffee from a place that calls...

Randomly found this place while searching on google for new lunch spots in the area. Menu looked great, so I gave it a try! As I approached the building at 11:45am it was not obvious it was even open (no customers at the time and not obvious that lights were even on). When I got inside, there was no staff immediately present so I browsed the interior. It looked more like a coffee shop and snack bar than a lunch spot. After a very short wait I was greeted with a friendly employee who willingly gave me recommendations on food/drinks when asked. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala Wrap and a Nitro Cold Brew. Both food items were delicious and I will be back to try more menu items next time. A few more customers arrived while I was there and because there was only one person taking orders and preparing the food items, their wait was a bit longer than mine. One person ordered a pasta-based dish only to find out that there were out of pasta. I would definitely give this place...

Ordered avocado toast and sparkling turmeric tea through the restaurant website. Got a text confirming the order and that I’d be notified when it was ready. Waited 30 minutes. Went to the restaurant. There was confusion about how to make my drink and sandwich. Finally got my order. It was only avocado on bread. No prosciutto or roasted tomatoes or kale. Returned to restaurant.
