McDonald's — Restaurant in Iowa City

All I wanted was a quick lunch for my husband & myself as we went home from the hospital. I ordered using the app. Got to the drive thru and they didn't confirm my name or order. Got to the first window & received my receipt. Got to the second window & received our drinks, straws, & bag of food. Parked to eat only to find that the drinks were the only correct items we received. I took the order back inside - and the man in the car ahead of the drive thru lane asked if they had messed up my order too. Well, that should have been an indicator of things to come. I got inside and NO ONE was at the counter to assist. Finally a young man helped me. I got a new bag of food, but no apology. Back in the car, and first thing I realize that we didn't receive our fries. So I go back inside for the second time. The young man who had helped me was with another customer so I got the attention of another employee; I received my fries, but again, no apology. And then the kicker - we received the wrong sauce for our chicken. By this point I was pissed. And entire dining room of people saw me come in the building three times. And they also saw me complain about the wrong dipping sauce. When I asked for the manager, all I got from her was a flippant "oh, sorry." It was obvious she didn't care at all. Wow, I can't imagine if we had just driven away without checking our order. I wonder if that's...

Appears I have not learned my lesson at this site. Today, a year later, I go to the drive thru again. I went to the outside lane because the inside was 2 cars deep. Sat there while 3 other cars pulled up and got waited on, then seen them drive off after they paid and picked up at the second window. Still hadn't been waited on. I went inside to complain that I'd sat out there 5 minutes and got no service, and the dude in a reflective safety vest behind the counter acted like he could care less. Done with this store, even though I work across the street, I'll drive to the Riverside store or Burger King.

This McDonald's is a joke!! Went in at noon to eat. A line backed up, people who had been waiting over 30 minutes to get their food, one check out girl at the counter taking orders, chaos in the kitchen, and a guy behind the counter holding a bag of food looking out at everyone not saying anything. He had a stupid grin on his face! The guy behind me hollared at him, "What order number is it?" He acted like, "oh yeah, duh!" Cars lined out in the road and I left! This McDonald's is a disgrace not only to corporate but to Creston. I couldn't find anything good to say about it, I like to be able to do that. Why do you only have one person taking orders?
