Subway — Restaurant in Iowa

Experience wasn't too bad, it is the food that's the issue. We ordered 2 salads, a kids turkey sandwich and a ruben foot long. The ruben; I had to remind the guy that sauerkraut goes on a ruben, once that was settled, he put on just enough to not even cover from one end to the other, with as much juice as seemingly possible. I took one bite of the sandwich and threw it out, it tasted REALLY bad. I won't say the food was spoiled as I am not sure, but it deffinatly didn't taste good. The salads; the guy made my wifes salad first then my daughters, without changing or cleaning the bowl or instruments. Once we got home, we realized that he had chopped everything so finely that it was all basically mush. Both salads had about half as much ingredients as every other Subway we have been to. Neither my wife or daughter could eat their salads, both went in the garbage. The small, kids turkey sandwich; he actually made this right. Good job. Anyway, $27 later and I am now ordering pizza for the family. Thanks guys, really worked your "sandwich artist"...

Purchased 2 footlong steak and cheese. Bread was stale and underbaked. I asked for both to be toasted, but she just heated enough to melt the cheese. Toppings were generous, but the olives tasted rancid. The sandwich “artisan” just threw it together and squeezed it so hard when wrapping it was pressed nearly flat. I recently had a fantastic experience at my local Subway! The service was wonderful, with staff that were not only friendly but genuinely made me feel welcomed.
