We visited Deltaville mid week in October and found that this was one of the few places open all week. We ate there twice for lunch. I had the fried flounder sandwich one day and fried rockfish sandwich the other. Both were very good, I liked the tenderness of the flounder a bit better. A couple of the other guys had the burger, and they said it was very good. The side winder fries are terrific. This is a no frills kind of local spot. They were short staffed, but the two waitress were super friendly and really hussled. Outdoor seating, a bar area, and a dining room for seating options.

I've been here 2 times for lunch and both were good, today I had the shrimp and crab soup to start, very good plenty of shrimp and crab, bacon on top was nice addition, got a burger which was medium like I asked, which is unusual most places over cook it, they even had wheat bread which is a big deal to me lol, sweet tea is good and have lemons as well, Cassie was our server and she was very good and nice.

Lovely, down to Earth, simple but very good menu. My husband had the chili (very generous portions!) and said it was like the ones he grew up with. I had their lunch special Rachel sandwich with hush puppies, and it was delicious. We got tempted by the homemade bread pudding, but it was sweeter than we are used to. Overall, a very pleasant experience, lovely service and affordable. Thanks for having us!!!

Maybe it was just us, but there was a decided lack of welcome in the air here. My husband and I entered and the hostess looked right through us demanding to know what was wrong with the door we had just walked through. She offhandedly indicated a table for us, then vanished, and we settled in for a long wait. (15 minutes or so). We knew the place was busy, but found it disappointing that customers who entered after us were seated, given menus and received drinks before we REQUESTED menus. A sweet young lady brought us ONE menu to share, and then turned the specials board toward a different table. Several minutes later, we flagged down the first server who came by, asking if we could order drinks. When she brought them, we immediately ordered our food. Who knew when she might come back, after all?

We understood about the kitchen being backed up, so no complaints about when our meal arrived. The meatloaf special and the chicken potato soup were both delicious. The fries (wedges, really) were prettier than they tasted, but the sourdough bread and bacon in my BLT were first-rate. Hubby also enjoyed the baked apple and cole slaw sides. Tl:dr... Definitely do check this place out. But be ready for its popularity to slow...

Food was okay, nothing special as we didn't expect any different. But the service? YOU MUST BE LOCAL TO EAT HERE!.We were treated like second class diners and we live local. Was actually embarrassed for our visiting out of town family to be treated so rudely. We were a table of 6 and was only given 2 menus. When asked for more politely, was told you have 2. Never checked on if we needed anything during our visit. Guess we need to visit weekly to get good service so they know who we are. Still tipped well as I felt sorry for the servers being so mean, maybe that put a smile on their faces, hopefully. We dine often and have never been treated so rudely! Update 9/25/25: Waitress was kind taking our order. Brought our meals. Never saw her again until she brought our bill. No refills, no check on our table. Maybe we are asking for too much when dining in the...

First, the wait staff was attentive and friendly. The food we ordered was awful and expensive for what we got. My wifes entree; Crab cakes had NO flavor. Not a lot of stuffing but very bland. Hush puppies are tiny and over-cooked. Fries over-cooked and too much salt. I actually think they sprinkled kosher salt all over them. $22.00 Me; Stuffed flounder. Not much stuffing and not much flavor. The fish itself was not bad (though tiny) but the stuffing left alot to be desired. Fries sucked, again, too much salt. The coleslaw however was tasty. $24.99 With a few drinks our bill was just north of $70. We left and went to the local grocery store and bought appetizers for our boats toaster oven to complete the evening. Will not return...
