Velodrome Coffee Company — Restaurant in Ishpeming

Cozy coffee shop/roastery with solid selection of hot coffee, iced coffee, espressos, cappuccinos, lattes and chai tea among others. Additionally, there is currently a small offering of cold/grab'n'go turkey and italian sandwiches, cookies, waffles, muffins, some flavored water & coca-cola cans and attire/mugs.

Great, open space with about 34 seats including some benches and couches. It smells fresh inside and is minimally yet tastefully decorated. Bathrooms are clean and wifi is excellent. Employees are attentive, pleasant and have good taste in music which is played at a reasonable volume. If the weather is nice, one can enjoy the view at an partial garage...

I really wasn't impressed at all .

1. The coffee was ehh ok kinda tasted like foldgers, not to keen on the three flavors they had to choose from. I got the Honey iced coffee.. again ehh.

2. The price for what I got , that was a joke , it looked like a small and it was $6 ..

3. The lid I had to put on didn't fit, it was loose.

I'm sorry I tried it because I am all about supporting my local businesses, but I could have went to Starbucks or McDonald's and got one that I liked, maybe if they have other flavors and sizes, I might return. I only gave it one star because at least the young man working was nice and had answered my questions I had...

So excited that Veldrome is in the City Ishpeming 😃 I can literally walk there from my house.
