Only stopped to use the restroom. This Jack in the Box is located in the same building as the Speedway (formerly USA) gas station/truck stop. The Speedway sign is obvious, the Jack in the Box sign much less so.
Restrooms primarily for truckers at the Speedway gas station end, and for patrons of the Jack in the Box at the other end of the building. Both sets of restrooms have been generally clean and well-maintained, although during high-traffic periods they may be not quite as good, simply due to the high volume of use.
This is the last point in the USA where one can easily stop at a restroom, convenience store or fast food on the way into Mexico at this border crossing. Although there is a second possibility at the duty-free shop just a bit farther toward the border, its presence (and entrance) is not obvious for those not familiar with this...
Read moreI'm from San Francisco and for the past 2 months I've been working on the Gateway project that is right next to this particular Jack's. Our team works from 12 midnight to 8:30am to aviod the heat. We've been in a hotel the whole time so fast food is the only real option.
This Jack's claims to be 24rs but is closed from 12 midnight until 6am
I have to drive 16 minutes away to a different Jack's that is actually 24hrs just to get food even though this Jack's in 5 mins away from the job sight.

We walk in and the manager in charge looks at us and continues talking to an employee, he finally tells us that they just finished cleaning the grill and fryer and it will be at least 20 minutes until we can get food.
