Beckham's Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Isle

This is basically a small, hole in the wall bar. We walked in and expected to be greeted. That didn't happen. We found seating and the table was dirty. I wiped it off with wet wipes I had in my purse. We expected a server to come & take our order. That didn't happen. This was a late Saturday afternoon, October 5th, very few customers were in the bar and there were 2 people behind the bar talking, laughing & being attentive to the customers sitting at the bar. We waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged and have our order taken in which neither one was done. After discussing the lack of choices on the menu and prices we felt were too much, we got up and left, going 4 miles into another establishment that did want our business. We won't be going back to this place because of the lack of service and acknowledgement of our presence. We would have spent at least $60 on food, drinks & tip that would have stayed in the local economy of Isle had we been treated with courtesy...

For the area this is probably a 10 star joint. Put this place in a ski town or mountain town probably be packed every night with locals n tourists. But theres no atmosphere, waitress barely knew where the door was let alone menu. Which is all burgers n sandwiches with potato salad, coleslawor chips. What is this 1980? Didnt matter tho cook doesnt know the menu either. Just back there cookn whatever he feels like, and waitress hoping your more hungry than annoyed. The live music sounded like a cat stuck in a traffic cone, and the 7 locals that were there probably just finished painting a shed or tilling a field.

The atmosphere was about as lively as a morgue, but im sure thats par for the course in this part of the world. They get 5 stars because the place was clean, upkept n the food was edible. Which is pretty rare in most 2...

Well, we waited at the bar for someone to take our order a couple different times, it took a long time to get service and the bartenders were just standing there talking amongst themselves, at one point I was going to order a pizza at the bar and a menu was tossed on the bar for me, I glanced at it and then waited,& waited, &waited for one of them to take my order but they didn't, they were to busy talking to each other, my friends finally came and got me, we went elsewhere to eat so the service sucks! We'll not be going back!! This was mine & my friends experience...
