Mi Fiesta Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Iva

I called in an order and the girl that took my order told me it would be 15 to 20 minutes and so I waited for 20 minutes and went to pick my order up and what I ordered on the menu did not say anything about having tomatoes on it and when I got home which is like 3 minutes from the restaurant I opened my food up and saw that it had tomatoes on it and so I just pushed them to the side and in the bottom of my plate was full of water and my burrito and enchilada was soaking wet and soggy and when I called back up there to tell them they said it was because of the tomatoes and I told them it was not even supposed to have tomatoes on it and then they started to get smart with me and said it was because I took so long to pick my order up which was a lie I timed it from the time I called and the time she said it would take for them to have it ready and then I told them I would not come back there to eat any more and the guy got smart and said ok and by the way this is not the first time my order has been messed up and the last time I called my order in and I told them to make sure they do not put any shrimp in my fajitas because I am deathly allergic to all shellfish and when I got home and went to fix me some on a plate with some beans and rice I noticed it had shrimp in it with the beef and chicken and when I called about it having the shrimp in it they said I asked for shrimp and I asked him why would I ask for shrimp when I know if I eat it then it is going to swell my throat up and kill me and he just hung up the phone on me I would not ever recommend this place to anyone not even my dog she deserves to eat better than...

Ok so 1st of all Iva, South Carolina is such a small town! I seriously did not expect for it to have an authentic Mexican Restaurant & a good one at that! Their service is always so fast & they have never gotten my order wrong! Actually, they have given my daughter & I a little extra in our carry out bags a time or two & it was greatly appreciated! Their salsa is unlike any other salsa I have ever tried! It's incredible. I think they might put a dash of nutmeg in there or some5hing for that little extra depth of flavor. I never order the same thing every time we go, so I have tried a wide variety of things from their menu. So far, my favorites have been their steak fajitas, anything they cook with pork, & the dish that comes served with cactus! The only thing I didn't like about this place was the women's bathroom... but that's because the light switch was incredibly hard to find & I had to pee...

The staff was friendly enough, but the service was incredibly slow. Our orders were correct, but the margaritas tasted like syrup with 1/4 of a shot of tequila. My boyfriend and I both asked for a shot of tequila to mix into the drink at the table since there was so little. I liked my food, but it was only half warm. My boyfriend’s was cold, bland, and the tortillas were soggy. I’d like to say it was just an off day, but family members said they had very similar experiences there.
