With a strong urge for some Texas BBQ, I stopped in around 3 for a late lunch. When I stepped up to the counter, I received a friendly greeting and was told the hamburgers were a big hit. I found that interesting since it was called a BBQ joint, but ok. I should have listened. Being desirous of BBQ, I went ahead and ordered a 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs. When I got the plate, I was pleased at the amount of food for the price. Sadly, the joy was short-lived. The brisket and ribs were both without much flavor and very tough. The sauce was mostly colored water and, again, without any real flavor. I ate 2 pieces of the brisket that were thin sliced and 2 ribs, and it was not easy. I finally gave up and ate the sides, baked beans and potato salad, and they were good. I ended up throwing away 2/3 of the meat on a wasted $13. I hate writing bad reviews on local restaurants because those are my favorite, but the BBQ I had here was just not good at all. I hope many of their other items are good, and if I get back that way, maybe I should try the burgers. Not...

CHOPPED BBQ Sandwich.

This is that kind of Old country barbecue, that tastes like it came from a barbecue pit that has been continuously cooking for the last 40 years! They don't hardly even got to add no seasoning to the meat itself because that pit is so well seasoned! My hat is off to them, but not without criticism...

If you're not going to automatically give me pickles and onions, you better ask me if I want some!! This is Texas baby, barbecue comes with that stuff; you think you all know that by now. Don't be stingy.

It comes on a bun that is fresh and soft, but what that means is you better eat that big old sandwich fast, are you're going to have a handful of mushy mess. Maybe toast the bun?? I tell you what would help, a layer of onions and pickles. 😘

This is up the road from my house. They are very good-hearted great people. Anytime I get a chance I eat their the people are really nice and the food is really good. I have even seen the owners by produce from a produce stand to using their food. I was very impressed. I have noticed they also take good care of the elders in our town too. Very good-hearted people. Updated on review If y'all have never eaten at the BBQ put in Warren then y'all are seriously missing out. Brandy Winkler and Paige Cain and staff does a phenomenal job. My absolute favorite go to place for lunch. My lovely wife Rebecca Barton pre-ordered my meal before she went to go help her mom. Also little does people know but I already have half a million views in my Google reviews. This place is definitely getting...
