Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Drove 25 minutes to pick up 2 pizzas. When I arrived at the drive up window, they were not ready. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes beyond the order time out front. Nice young man brought them out to me and apologized for the wait, no big deal things happen. When I got home though, I discovered the Classic Trio I had customized was missing the sausage (ordered sausage on the left side and ham on the right). I called them and asked for the manager. A lady who didn't introduce herself, got on the phone and immediately accused me of not ordering it right. Said their ticket printed saying no sausage. Okay well sorry for your printer, but not what I ordered. I offered to send her the email confirmation I had detailing the toppings I ordered correctly, since she obviously wanted to accuse me of being dishonest. She said I could email it to the general manager??? Uhh seriously? I wasn't even asking for anything free from them. I only asked her to note my account so when I would order again, I wouldn't have to pay for the topping. She said she'll, "see what she can do." Yet she also mentioned she didn't have the authority to do much. Well not sure what kind of manager can't issue a topping credit, but okay. I have zero faith anything was done and frankly the fact that she blamed me for your order printing issues and wanted to argue, astounds me. With all the pizza options in Stark County, I really don't need to drive 25 minutes to be treated like I was. I had patience and understanding with you fulfilling my order late, yet apparently manners mean nothing to your establishment, or at least some that...

Picked up two pizzas yesterday, drove 15 mins back home. One pizza was clearly cooked hours ago, heck it looked days old! Everything was dry and disgusting despite the pizza probably being undercooked. Place surely went downhill, also went on their app to redeem my points for a $3 discount...but you lose your points, as they don't honor using their points as a coupon when another promo is available....just flat out dumb, why even illuminate that option...as once you click it, you then surrender all your points for nothing as they deem it invalid.

Only reason for 2 stars and not just 1 star, was the other pizza was...

Tonight I ordered a small pizza and a calzone. Total was to round up $25. I prepaid a $12 tip to the delivery person. Which is well deserved especially at the price of fuel!

However, upon checkout I saw a $4.99 “delivery fee”. This was done directly through Donatos. Not DoorDash or anyone else

I called the store and was told that none of that fee goes to the store or to the driver.

So this sounds like corporate greed at its best.

Lost a loyal customer for life...
