KKP Bakery — Restaurant in Jackson Township

I was very excited for a new bakery walkable from my house. I arrived at 7:00am. The lights weren’t on but I entered anyways because they open at 7:00am. As I entered, employees were bringing out some items to put in the case. None of the employees standing behind the counter greeted me which seemed odd as I was the only customer in the shop. None of the items were labeled. I didn’t see any posted pricing. I asked if I could get some donuts. Bakery is quite the misleading term for a place with mostly donuts and very small muffins. Unfortunately they also said their “fire was broken.” I ordered a few donuts after they told me the cinnamon rolls are only sold by 6 or 12 count, not sold individually. The payment computer stopped working when they were cashing me out so they had to restart the system. It seems this place has a lot to work to do and maybe change the name from bakery to donut shop even though jolly pirate is less than a mile down the road..

$14.94 for 2 donuts and 4 small...

Stopped by about 3 weeks, purchased doughnuts. Fresh and delicious. Asked about pies, they have fruit pies displayed, then asked about cream pies, told me yes, but had to be ordered. $12.00. Went back last week, ordered a banana cream pie. Picked up yesterday from Diane. We just had our family Easter dinner, and had the pie for our dessert. Thus but was absolutely delicious, fantastic I don’t recall having a banana cream pie this good since Millers in Gahanna, We will be back, have a chocolate and a coconut nut cream pie in our future. Mothers Day and Memorial Day.

Stopped in today and I'm glad to say my hunt for a decent donut in GC has finally ended. Blueberry donuts are a hard to find favorite of mine, and they didn't disappoint! My only critique isn't the price (though it was expensive-$15 for a half dozen) but the lack of posted prices. I assume there's a difference in cost between all the things I got, but I wouldn't ever have known. Pop some price tags on the end of the trays so the customers can see and I'll feel better for not having a 'gotcha' moment at the register. Still though, great donuts. I will be back. Hope you all add a selections of breads...
