We hadn't been to the Irish Pub since it was the Irish Exchange. What a pleasant surprise! The new ownership has done a great job of updating the interior. There was no wait when we arrived, and our party of 5 was seated right away. The service was great. Very attentive server and accommodating host. The menu had great options from appetizer to main course. We were all very excited to see the food as it arrived at the table. Family favorites were the bacon jalapeno risotto, fries, cheese curds, and pub pretzels with beer cheese. We also ordered pizza (Mac & cheese and pepperoni), chicken fingers, patty melt, and the flatiron steak. We will definitely be back.

Just stop by and had lunch with my wife today and thought this was great food. I had the broasted chicken with Jojo's which was excellent. The mac and cheese was good too (3.5 out 5) and the coleslaw was decent too. Their homemade blue cheese salad dressing was phenomenal. My wife swears by the fish bites which I did not try but looked delicious. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu and recommend this spot for good bar food.

First time here in awhile and I was a bit disappointed from my last visit. The wing sauce was good but the meat was very dry, popcorn had WAY too much salt and was unedible, and the cheese home fries had very little cheese. Service was good and the restaurant is nice. Maybe had a new person in the kitchen. I will definitely give it another go.

First visit. My wife ordered the pork chop, veggies, and potatoes. The plating was simple but purposeful -- I immediately regretted my more boring choice (I asked the waitress if it was too late to change my order as she was placing it on the table before me).

Everything was delicious. The pork chop was tender, moist, and cooked to perfection. It was huge and my wife took half of it home for lunch the next day.

Her veggies, carrots and broccoli, must have been steamed as the color was vivid. She said they were delicious and perfectly cooked.

I had the four-piece dark chicken. The outside was golden-brown, and yet it was crispy. The thighs were plump, much larger than the pullet-sized pieces served in most restaurants in the area. The legs were a bit smaller than one would expect given the size of the thighs. Nonetheless, they were still larger than legs served in other area restaurants. The meat was cooked to perfection -- juicy and tender, neither overcooked nor undercooked.

I was astonished at the reasonable prices in the menu.

Our only complaint was the volume of the music. It was close to painful. But, we either got used to it, or they turned it down. Or, the quality of the overall experience may have distracted us.

I was even more pleased that they honored my veteran ID card. My wife and I will...

I was there recently and ordered the Irish Signature burger. Rachel (bartender) took my order. I asked for American cheese, onion and lettuce. I was fine with the mayo/ketchup. I asked what the vegetable of the day was. She didn't know and asked a coworker. It was asparagus. I ordered that. She forgot my burger toppings and asked again. She never asked how I wanted my burger cooked. The food came out in a timely manner. But there was a tomato on it and no onion. After asking twice it was still wrong. And on this day fries were free. I didn't ask for them and didn't want them. Never ate one. They threw away a whole order of fries. Finished my burger and was on my last bite of asparagus and Rachel finally asked if everything was ok. This usually wouldn't be an issue, but she was more interested in her family at the bar and the regulars at the high top behind me buying pull tabs. The burger was more done than I like and the bun was not toasted like the menu stated. Also, other than her family at the bar, I was the only other...

Absolutely terrible since the new owners took over. Slow service and crappy food. I gave this place a second chance and I completely regret it. I waited for 45 minutes for my food when there were only two other tables occupied. Not only that but they had one server working in the entire restaurant by herself and it was only her 3rd day. Absolutely ridiculous. We got no refills. It wasn't her fault. This is on the manager. Whoever is in charge of staffing needs to be canned. As a manager you need to be assisting when its short staffed and not leaving your new employee to struggle during dinner rush. I definitely won't be coming back. UPDATE! The food is still awful and I waited an hour for food this time. They call the food by the same names as it was before Lobys bought it but its not the same..Its grade F quality steak along with everything else from fries, mac n cheese, to the dressing etc etc. Its beyond disappointing because this place never missed when it was ran by the previous owner. Dont waste your...
