Plant Bingo for the win! Iāve only been to Timbers a few times, and never felt compelled to come back. Plant Bingo changed that for me!!
Iāve found some menu items that I like (coconut shrimp and french onion soup). The lucky charm martini was a tasty treat too!
The event itself - SPLENDID! It was very well organized. There were 2 waitresses who were handling things very well (amongst all tables) ā collecting BINGO trash, handing out tickets, food orders, drinks, etc.
The lady who read the bingo #s spoke with clarity and good volume. Occasionally people would yell at her for going too fast but I thought she went at a perfect pace. (It would be fast, if playing more than 2 bingo cards at a time) - which some were⦠Also thought it was cool how Timbers offered extra bingo cards to go towards a cause š¾ (Shelter Donation)
I thought it was creative how they made the games spell out āPLANTā for PLANT BINGO. Good amount of games and prizes were available!
As a business move, I donāt think they couldāve done anything differently. I like their FB page - itās informative and where I learned about the event! I particularly liked the fact that there was NO CHARGE to participate!! This alone, puts Timbers above any other Bingo events I have seen in the area. They did RSVPs for this event and they had a great turn out!! Naturally, people are going to buy food and drinks when theyāre out having fun! It was a perfect little date with my husband!
They had opportunities to get raffle tickets for āchecking inā or āleaving a review.ā ā My only recommendation here, is to not put a deadline for the review (it had to be done before the event was over). As you can see - I like to put time and effort into my reviews! Itās hard to give a genuine review while eating out, enjoying company, and playing plant BINGO at the same time! I heard a waitress offer tickets for making reviews later ā so I opted for that chance too!
Happy I attended this event and I hope they do plant BINGO regularly! Iāve seen other bingo events pop up nearby, but at this point my eyes are just hopeful for another Timberās event instead! šŖ“
Also looking forward to a chance to experience their outdoor venue! CONS: Shrimp Scampi from previous visit (just take it off the menu, didnāt even finish it - bland)

10/10 for plant bingo!!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMe and my husband got a very rare date night and we've passed Timbers everyday for the last two years and decided to finally stop and try it out. Let's be honest, food in PA is either hit or miss, so, we weren't expecting to be blown away, but, we were. For starters, The French onion soup was perfect and the pot chicken stickers were flavorful, the dipping sauces were a good pairing. For the entree we both had the prime rib, it was amazing, the flavor was fantastic and the cap on it just made it that much better. My husband when we go out usually gets medium rare and always complains about it being over cooked, but, at Timbers this chef nailed it and made my husband a happy camper. When my husband told our waitress, Amanda, that he was very pleased with his meal, she invited us to enjoy it on Fridays for their $15 dollar prime rib, unreal deal, yes please! After wrapping up dinner we went down stairs to their bar and had a drink while they played karaoke. The owner was playing the guitar while the patrons and his daughter sang, it was really a great time. Amanda and her family showed us a fantastic time with wonderful food, great conversation, and a family friendly atmosphere. You'll feel the same way going to Timbers, it was an unexpected gem that will be on our list of favorite...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePhenomenal atmosphere. I'll admit I was a little tepid about going into a local pub and being the outsider( but not forever), that all disappeared within the first two minutes. The staff is friendly professional and knowledgeable, the clientele they attract are friendly and provide great conversation if that's what you're looking for or allow you to keep to a quiet lunch if you just stopping by. There's a second bar downstairs with a pool table in another room, I imagine it's worth exploring what kind of pool leagues might be running out of Timbers pub. This new client, will be a repeat client. Special thanks to Terri the bartender (on shift, when I first went in), I'm sure I'll find all the rest of the staff to be just as friendly and accommodating and warm. I did see some of the other servers helping their customers and they projected a friendly and professional attitude as well. The owners of this establishment as well as the management have done a great job hiring and keeping a top quality staff. Astrik one small request, adding a Japanese whiskey would be phenomenal to the selection that is already available.( "D"...
