The restaurant is clean and the food is good as you expect from a Wendy's franchise. However there are staff sat outside smoking on their break making me wonder if they wash their hands when they go back to making food. Also I was the only person in line and I had to ask for a large Frosty (that I had ordered) instead of the small they wanted to give me. Maybe they didn't hear my order clearly, maybe they weren't listening. Either way, there are some things that the management can easily do to improve the customer experience at this Wendy's. The staff taking the order could use full sentences instead of stunted phrases when ordering. Sounding like you care is easy to do and doesn't cost anything. All these things are small in the big scheme of life but they are the small things that Wendy's managers ought to be caring about.
A different visit: I accidentally ordered two chocolate frosties and didn't ask for large. I was given small and I realized my mistake. I said I wanted large, offered to pay the difference but was told I could not be returned/exchanged, but I could buy additional large ones. Not great customer service. I caused the problem but there was no effort to assist me in...
Read moreThe food is prepared well, staff is always kind and orders correct 100% so far,, however at max staffing and no one ahead or behind you, you will get pulled up. I'm not sure why the fast food industry has a timer to get orders out by, and then pull you ahead to stop said timer. During peak times, I see pulling ahead to prevent line delays, but when you're the only customer on their premises, it's time to check your management team. You may also get orders out a little quicker if you don't have to deliver them to the curb every 3min. You can't blame this on understaffing, all lack of efficiency. *Update, there are currently 6 cars parked in the middle of the parking lot waiting for food. You actually need to reverse and back up and pull beside other waiting customers? How does a restaurant get so far behind? It doesn't appear to be staffing as they have similar staffing as what was noticed a year...
Read moreThe lunch crew does a great job at accuracy, ensuring my food is fresh, and preparing orders quickly. However, the night crew is constantly making me wait for a relatively small order and always messing it up somehow. Last week, ordered a JBC 4 for $4 (had me pull forward and wait, even though nobody is behind me.... probably to improve their drive thru time sensors— I’m a former Wendy’s employee) and asked for no Mayo or cheese on the sandwich (it’s an online order, so there’s no way they could miss that, right?), but I received the sandwich with everything on it, including cheese and Mayo. Ordered again about an hour ago, same exact order as last week, but instead of everything on the sandwich, they put Mayo and cheese ONLY on the sandwich. What’s so hard about following simple instructions? Guess I’ll take my late night service elsewhere...
