The appearance is nice and the patrons are getting steady since they opened. However, I haven't eaten there yet. I walked by and the food smelled good though. So, since then I've eaten here several times and nowadays they seem to be falling short. For one, I absolutely adore their chef Gavin. He's personable, comes out to mingle with us patrons, and he puts his foot the food😋. However, I refuse to eat there anymore if he's not on duty. I can tell anytime that he's not present because I order the same dishes (switching up between them not just the same thing each time). Friday I ordered the jambalaya pasta. When my boyfriend brought the food home and I opened it I was livid. The substitute chef Brittany (which I knew couldn't have been Gavin) used some elbow's macaroni pasta for the dish 🙄🤦🏾 AND the sauce was so OILY(yuck). The only thing I can say is at least the sauce was a sauce as opposed to the other time Gavin was out sick and they used some man with a long beard and he basically tossed the pasta in water( NO SAUCE😩). They never put utensils in the carryout bags🙄. A patron could be traveling to work or just on the go. When I called to confirm what I already knew the bartender Sheldon (who happens to be the bomb at what he does;(personable, there since they opened for business, and makes great drinks) had me waiting on hold for three minutes while I listened to people chatting and laughing in the background🙄. Note to the new management: Keep your aces in their places. I called to make an order once and had to keep repeating what I said and when my boyfriend called Friday he had to repeat what he said. Let Sheldon do his job of bartending and let those women take orders or hire more employees for busy times. Really! On top of all of this Jackson isn't the liveliest place to live or visit. So Baysire is like a saving grace for this place. Yeesh, you would think they would at the very least stay open until 11! 9 pm on a Friday night 🙄. Open ONLY FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY! As Charlie Brown would say," Good grief. They would do the town of one stop light some justice by opening more days and staying open until 11 on weekends 🤦🏾. As it is I'm not inclined to spend anymore of my time or money with Baysire Bistro. Especially, when the pretty red head former manager left. It was a joy seeing her even though she still frequents the restaurant 😊✌🏽. The pic with the aluminum foil is not even all the oil that was in that so called sauce. Not Chef Gavin's work.

Outstanding food and outstanding service. My husband and I were in town and lucked up on the most charming little restaurant. My luck continued when I saw their evening special, snow crab legs. 🦀 Sometimes, I am weary to eat crab legs that aren't served at a seafood restaurant, but no worries here. 👍 The crab legs were meaty with a delicate flavor....very yummy as they are my favorite type of seafood. My husband had their ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfect. We had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Bay Sire Bistro due to the food quality and service. Not only was the waitress attentive, but the chef came over to check on the taste of the food followed by management, who was very present in the restaurant. This was impressive and showed how important their customers are. I definitely recommend this restaurant as you will be in store for a wonderful treat. Your wallet and taste buds will thank you.

What a wonderful, wonderful locally-owned and locally-sourced place for a date! Our dear sweet friend recommended this and she was right on the mark! Kayla provided attentive and helpful service. Salad bar a very nice feature with so many options! Best cut of ribeye I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time! We shared the Meal for 2 and everything was cooked perfectly! Grilled shrimp and herbed butter on steak-chef’s kiss!!! Sweet potato perfect size and done perfectly! Husband enjoyed his sweet potato fries as well. We took Kayla’s recommendation for the blondie for dessert. High quality ice cream served with. Just a first class experience all the way around! Will definitely be back and can’t wait to bring family! Also can’t wait to enjoy a meal on the lovely patio! Wow, what a true gem for such a cozy little town!

I grew up in Jackson, NC and have lived in Atlanta most of my adult life. When I come HOME back to Jackson the first place I go to the “Bay Sire Restaurant”! First of all….the food is the delicacy you would expect in an high end - steak house in New York, Atlanta, LA, etc., but, this establishment is so much more….never disappointing! The chef knows how to make a perfect steak….no matter your preference (I personal love the rare-med/rare), but always the very best entrees. Not to mention the yummy side dishes! The staff and wonderful manager are professional, kind and just what you’d expect in NOCO. But, to the bottom line…this place is a god-send! I thank those of you that took the chance to help revitalize Jackson and Northampton County……you know who you are.❤️ Aside of being a wonderful restaurant, the “Bay Sire Restaurant” is a place that friends can enjoy one another and reminiscent! Thank you from the bottom of my...
