I ordered the snow crab combo. The corn was like field corn, not sweet. The potatoes were like small russets so they were hard with tough skin. The shrimp was tough and dry and so was the crab. Make sure to know this is NOT made to order. It's like they cook the stuff, refridgerate it and then put it together and put butter on it so when you get it, it's COLD. I read reviews saying it would need to be reheated but I didn't expect to have to heat it from what seemed to be a couple hours of refrigeration.
I paid about 44 bucks for 2 crab clusters, 10 shrimp, 2 corns and maybe the equivalent of one medium to large russet potato.
One guy was on the phone the whole time except when ringing me up, the guy who took my order acted like he was mad that I was asking questions (I mean it was my first time, give me a break and they were NOT busy so sheesh.) There was one guy behind the counter waiting on another lady that was very nice and personable and I wish he could have took my order.
Long story short, I was...
Read moreI came to visit my sister for two weeks from Philly. All I will say is, I was there probably 4 to 5 times getting a medium garlic crab tray. On my last day visiting, I got a large garlic crab tray. Delicious all around. They are friendly, helpful and will make sure to keep you satisfied. My sister had one tray out the bunch and some shrimp. When the seasoning and butter is melted, wheww child, I had to call my momma and phone slap her, just kidding. By the way, my sister delivered upon getting me from the airport, the one in the bag. So, yes... go visit, order, eat and be happy... too bad I couldn't take it on the plane... excellent food choices and the prices are very, very, very much worth it.. can't wait to move down there... but I'll be back very soon, oh, and to visit my sister too, I guess..actually, Update*.. I was just reminded that I had ordered 7 garlic trays in my 16 days of visiting. I wouldn't change...
