We had such high hopes for this place! We’d driven by several times and finally decided to give it a try based on some very misleading yelp reviews!!

We arrived and were seated on the patio right away. There was a beautiful view, great vibes and live music. I saw their signature drink “the Big Mary” go by and I was immediately impressed. I decided to order the piña colada to fit the mood. Unfortunately I received a nasty premade mix that was 💯 spoiled. It was rancid. Not to mention, it would have cost them next to nothing to add a little perceived value in the form of whipped cream, a cherry, or an umbrella???

We ordered the calamari and corn nuggets…neither were fresh or made in house.

I got the fried whole snapper, which is a regular dish I order. Again, you can immediately tell it was not fresh, probably frozen, no flavor in the batter. Actually it tasted like French fries, so it was probably fried in the same oil.

The Cole slaw was just cabbage and mayonnaise, and the cheese grits you could tell were instant. They had the fake cheese bits and the consistency was jello.

My husband had the fried shrimp and he could tell it wasn’t fresh either.

The service was just average. She wasn’t particularly friendly until the end and rarely came by to check on us or refill our drinks.

I gave the atmosphere 4* based on the view. Which is just a shame because they could elevate their food and beverage program and really give people a reason to drive 45 minutes from greater...

This was our first time visiting, and we went right at dinner time on a Saturday evening. The place was packed, but we were seated right away—and exactly where we wanted to sit, so that was a great start.

We did wait about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. My husband was just about to go find someone when a sweet young waitress approached and asked if we'd been helped. She sort of played it off like we weren't her table, but I have a feeling she was our server after all—because from that point on, she was very attentive.

They were out of the beer my husband wanted, but the waitress gave a great recommendation he liked. We ordered the pretzel, which was delicious, but the cheese cup was barely half full. It felt a little skimpy, especially since they charge extra if you want more. Luckily, I really liked the mustard sauce.

My Miami Vice cocktail was also very good, but I didn't get the floater I had requested. No big deal—it wasn't on the bill, so I didn't worry about it.

We shared the chicken pizza and asked for the chicken to be blackened. It wasn’t blackened, but the pizza was still delicious. I especially loved the mushrooms and peppers. One small thing to note: the menu listed it at $18.50, but we were charged $20.50. We didn’t bring it up.

Overall, we really liked the atmosphere and definitely plan to return. Hopefully, some of the hiccups were just due to it being...

We’ve been planning to go for almost a year now & the food was incredible!

We had frog legs, Gator Bites, I had the Mahi & my wife had shrimp.

Everything about the vibe was incredible, the host were great, especially Lilith who was very inviting, however our service was horrific with our waitress.

I’d prefer not to mention by name, but she waited on us outside & her name starts with a K.

She was great at first, but then became literally rude after we ordered food. I thanked her several times for bringing food or drinks & she didn’t respond at all, prioritized the other 2 tables she had outside over us in front of us, and I was kept waiting for 10+ minutes on drink refills every time I needed one & even had to ASK her for my last refill (2nd) because she didn’t even offer it or ask me, even when I’d been sitting with no drink for so long. She also completely forgot to bring kids drinks & we didn’t remind her.

As a recently former food service professional, I asked her how much she would tip if she had gotten the same level of service, and she had the audacity to laugh at the question & said “I don’t know, 20%?” So we tipped her 20%, but she did NOT deserve it at all.

It was the worst service we’ve had since living here.

If it wasn’t for the redeeming beautiful weather, good food, & the other pleasant staff members, We’d never come back. Seriously...
