Platinum Gentlemen's Club of Jacksonville, NC — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I have mixed emotions about this strip club, I was going to audition. My first experience was amazing, they were so nice to me. I talked to the bouncer and to the hostess, who were both very polite. But before I went for my audition, I talked with either the manager or the owner for a few days (who was very professional.) and mentioned that I was going in for an audition which I was told was in between 7pm-9pm. Whenever I arrived it was 8:15PM, I walked in and the bouncer who held the door open for me was very nice and respectful. He asked if I was there for an audition and whenever I told him yes, he went to the back and told a man (I’m guessing the manager) that I was there to audition. But whenever he came back out (Alone) he told me that he apologizes, but i would have to come back on a different day. I texted the number and mentioned what happened and told him I’d be back Wednesday to audition. Whenever I went back there was two men behind the counter. One was very quiet and the other seemed rude. Whenever I walked in they told me that I’d have to come back because it was 7:40pm. once I mentioned that I texted a number saying that auditions were from 7pm-9pm, they started to act different. he asked me if I had experience I told him “no” he looked at me and asked me again with a crooked face. After that he asked for my ID and social, which I then gave to him. He looked at me up and down with a face of disgust and I honestly felt very uncomfortable. He then said that if I had my stuff that while I go out to grab it then he’ll go take copy’s of my information. I walked out, and while I’m at my car I can see him just staring at me. Next thing I know, I walk in with my husband (who was eager to pay for services. As I mentioned to the number I was texting and also mentioned our background.) and he looked both me and my husband in our eyes and told us RUDELY that I couldn’t be able to audition but if we wanted to we could...

Since our listeners love our exotic dancer episodes, decided to head out to Jacksonville this past Tuesday night which was slow, (and how we like it) to see if we could network with a few girls and the owner to collab/cross promote, who I didn't get to meet. There was only one thing that brought concern, my credit card had an extra $50 added to it while it was pending to clear, but then went away after clearing a few days later...maybe a authorization hold or something. A lot of clubs are notorious for adding on additional fees. First, the club did major upgrades from a few years ago, with previous ownership. The current staff is amazing, well trained, and friendly. Being from eastern NC, and our team spending lots of time doing episodes with dancers and management in Raleigh, Charlotte, and with our hometown dancers from Greenville/Rocky Mount, this is one of the nicest gentlemen's clubs in NC. A bit pricey with more rules then the typical NC clubs we go to and network with, so I can't stress enough to get VIP like i did to really have fun, some may just be fine with the drinks and atmosphere if you are from rural areas, and not use to upscale clubs. Can't say this is the go to club in that area until we visit the other clubs in Jacksonville around Jan and Feb, to see what they have to offer. So, I had to rewrite my post, as I have now visited a second time. For those who haven’t read my review previously, I am in a wheelchair full-time, and had experienced the club from the moment they first changed owners. This IS HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE, something that other clubs in town are not. I have to say this is one of the best clubs I’ve been to, before and now. I partook in a dance with a girl named Fey this time, whom I would wholeheartedly recommend. She is very understanding, beautiful, and has an open personality. She was very considerate of my disability as well, always making sure I was comfortable and okay, and making sure to repeatedly do things she knew I enjoyed during the dance. As far as I am aware, she is available on most days except Monday and Wednesday’s. I would also recommend the room with the couch and TV. The pricing here is reasonable, and you get what you pay for. Everyone here is courteous and helpful, particularly VIP Manager Derek. He will walk you through prices, along with anything else you need to know, as well as personally helping me get my wheelchair back into my car when I left for the evening. The music played is very good, the drinks are mixed well (which is a definite plus to the bartender), and the girls are gorgeous.
