Just an honest review from my first experience. I have been wanting to give this place a try as it is just a couple miles from home and was craving a cheeseburger. Everyone was very polite, the restaurant is clean and a very nice place to sit down and enjoy a bite.

The burger was really good! This was my first time eating here so I can't knock it. Everything on it was fresh, the pickles were delish but I would have asked for mayo instead of mustard. (It's just my preference) The fries are homemade, not overly salted but maybe a little on the oily side.

Service was fair, they were nice, spoke kindly and chatted with what I guess were mostly regulars. Could have been a little more attentive but overall I have no major complaints.

The only thing I do wish this place had was it's own drink service area like most small diners. If the tea and the soda fountain were accessible to the patrons, I feel this would have helped as I was rather thirsty and my drink glass hit bottom more than once.

Shaynes is a solid 4, and with more visits I hope to revisit this review and put that fifth star there. Great place and will...

My sister ate at this place on Thursday, she enjoyed it so much she brought me on Friday to give it a try. The outside has a nice big porch with tables and chairs to sit at. Walking in the vibe was very welcoming. The smells, decoration, the older gentlemen sitting around talking. It felt like I walked into someone’s home on an early Saturday morning. Eventually we learned that location use to be her grandfather’s house. The young lady who took our order was very sweet and polite. Come to find out she is the owner. My sister and I both ordered the loaded breakfast burritos. The owners mom brought our food to our table. She was also really sweet. The burrito was delicious. It had crispy potatoes, 2 types of sausage, bacon and eggs. It also came with a small container of the freshest salsa. It was very filling and full of flavor. I could only eat half. Later in the evening I warmed the other half up and devoured it.

I am looking forward to trying other items...

This place is absolutely the best representation of a down home southern cafe in this area. To start the service is top notch with smiling faces greeting you when you walk in the door no matter how long the line is. The food is fresh, seasoned well and the portions are always plentiful (just remember to save room for their amazing deserts). On par with the food is the atmosphere, the cafe has a southern charm and is quite enough to enjoy conversation. Keep up the good work y'all, I hope you’re around for...

This quaint diner is home to a simple, yet elegant menu and full of rustic, country charm. The staff are lively, welcoming and courteous. When visiting, I had the BLT with an added fried egg and breakfast potatoes. The BLT was absolutely delicious. At first, I thought the potatoes, while beautifully cooked, may have been over seasoned. I was wrong. The potatoes cook and flavor allowed them to stand on their own as a powerful sidepiece to the perfect breakfast sandwhich. I will definitely be coming back.
