Two Cooking Cousins — Restaurant in Jacksonville

This eatery has employees with terrible customer service and disfunctional work ethic. I had a problem years ago with the food and the customer service, but it was professionally resolved by one of the owners Robin. I decided to revisit this location due to my husband who had brought home food and it was surprisingly good. I decided to give them another try after 3 years and to my surprise the same customer service from a man working the front. I called in the order arrived after the time given and wasn’t greeted or asked what they could do for me. I waited then mentioned I had a call in order. No response. I could go on, but I was yelled at and had to wait longer and then said even though I called it in that’s not how it works that I call it in and just pick it up and now I know. I won’t be back, but the worst part is as Africa Americans were already being slaughtered, lunched, disrespected, unsupported and all this behavior is from our own people this hurted the most. You never know what a person is dealing with when you have an encounter. I’m dealing with enough to make a person want to give up on life, but I’m persevering with faith. This place is the pinnacle of why family owned businesses are always by far better then the franchises and chains hands down. The staff is very friendly and personable ,as well as the facility itself is ran smoothly and the kitchen and cooking areas are spotless. As far the food ,its beyond fantastic! My fiance and I ordered the 10pc shrimp and wings with Buffalo and sweet and spicy mixed and was hooked it was not only great quality but also cooked perfectly and delicious doesn't begin to describe it! So that being said I highly recommend them to friends, family and anyone looking for a great quality meal at very reasonable prices, you can't go wrong n definitely will not regret it. I wish all facilities were as clean and great quality as this one but that's the beauty in family owned businesses ,is that they take pride in delivering a quality product that will have you beating the door down to experiance it again. I didn't want to have to come & be negative but my voice has yet to be heard. The food is GREAT... however, I ordered 10 wings/10 shrimp, fries & a roll via doordash. It was advertised to be $10. I thought "what a deal". Food came, guess what I received?? 10 wings & a roll. Um... the 12 wings (which I've had before) are $8. So why on earth would I be okay with just getting 10 wings & a roll for $10?? I was very upset & still am. I called probably 15 times to no avail. Called the doordash rep... no answer. It's not okay. had it been anyone else I'm sure they'd be upset too. Not to mention I'm pregnant so I had my mouth ready for what I paid for.
