Pepe's Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Jamestown

We had a friend from Germany visiting our family and wanted to find a nice place to eat. We were looking for a Chinese restaurant initiall, but due to awful reviews we just couldn't do that.

Upon searching through Google for best places to eat near us, Pepe's was one of the restraunts that came up. I read the reviews and they looked great! I told my family I found the place we'd be eating at!!! :-) :-) :-)

The restaurant wasn't the fanciest or anything, but you could tell just by walking in that this was a real family place. The customers seemed to be relaxed and thoroughly enjoying their meals and each other.

The waiter was busy, but gave us good attention. Our drinks, chips, and salsa were always filled without us even needing to ask for refills. Most of my family and our friend ordered fajitas. Delicious!!! I actually ordered the vegetarian enchiladas filled with lots of veggies. They along with the rice, refried beans, and guacamole were just mouthwatering delicious!!! The water even tasted good, not like most restaurant water that has a dirt taste.;-) Our food was more than enough!!! We had plenty of left overs to take home!

Listen, if you're in the area and want a really great and very reasonably priced Mexican restaurant, look no further! I'm serious... I'd drive even further to go back to this wonderful restaurant!!! It will definitely be on the top of the list if we want to get a bite to eat away...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pepe's Mexican restaurant and overall, I had a satisfying experience. The highlight of my meal was the chicken chimichanga. It was bursting with flavor, and the generous portion of chicken inside made it a hearty and delicious choice. Although the size of the chimichanga itself was slightly smaller than expected, the abundance of chicken mostly made up for it.

One aspect that stood out to me was the drink glasses. They were impressively large, offering a refreshing and thirst-quenching experience. It was a nice touch and added to the overall value of the meal.

The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly, further enhancing my dining experience.

While there were a few minor areas for improvement, such as the size of the chimichanga, I left Pepe's Mexican restaurant feeling satisfied and contented. I would gladly return to try more of their flavorful dishes...

We went tonight, we have been a few times and each time has progressively gotten worse. This time in particular made me want to write a review. We were seated very quickly with a friendly employee (female). The server came to the table fairly quickly and took our drink orders and brought chips and salsa. That was the end of the good, now on to the bad. It was 7 by this time, the server never came back to our table until 747 when we asked for our food because we had to go. He had 4 other tables including ours 2 right next to us and never stopped to check on us, and when we would try to get his attention he just went on. Now on to the food, when we asked for the food it magically came out within 3 minutes. I ordered 3 chicken tacos that were cold and soggy. The two beef tacos my daughter ordered were the same.
