Bogeys Burgers and Beer — Restaurant in Janesville

Visited Bogeys Burgers and Beer on a night where special was Buy one Get One 1/2 Off on burgers, in addition to the establishment offering Trivia free for it's customers. Busy and crowded, so my grown son and I sat at bar. Restaurant was not bright, which attracts me, a cozy, great environment even though packed. Bar tender was on point and very friendly, enjoyed her very much. Ordered the $12 appetizer Sampler Platter and two Bogeys burgers. We waited forever for food, enjoying cold tap beer, but very hungry. I get it, busy night, no problem. Then all at once came the appetizer basket at the same time as our burgers. Too much at once for us to consume. The appetizers were over cooked and onion rings burnt, but overall an interesting concept if delivered earlier as we drank. They have the worst service only had 15- people never came and checked in our table Food came out burnt sent it back No one ever checked in after they brought the second app out Never came and asked if we wanted another drink That’s why I don’t take any one there went to pay excuses about 22 people grow up your a bar you should be used to lots of business If you want handle 22 people close or add more bartenders or cooks Services is awful They used to to be really good but now ughhh Won’t be going back anytime ever soon!! Nice eating area and setup. My fish sandwich was borderline ok, too much breading and over fried. I ordered onion rings and got fries, which I didn’t complain because the food took over an hour to get, easily a hour and half from when we were seated. My review is based on being there at 12:30 to 2 pm, our waitress was also the bartender, And I believe the cook. Twenty other people were also eating and or playing cards. The bar was probably lucky to be open, due to the shortage of help, that is everywhere. Otherwise probably usually a nice place? The waitress was nice and too busy to be doing that job, too bad the shortage of help has such an impact for a lot of places lately...
