Barista Express — Restaurant in Jayuya

If you're in the area, maybe just driving through the country side or just looking for some breakfast/ a quick bite or a great coffee in Jayuya, this is one great option for you. In fact, we were in our way to another farther place for some coffee, but decided to turn around and stay here. A good thing is that you'll see Barista Express right at the side of the road. Keep your eyes open, as you don't want to miss it. Now, their coffee is great, and I think they serve coffee from Café Nativo. That's a local and super good quality coffee. We also tried some waffles and they were pretty good. The said these were artisanal waffles and completely prepared in house. Nothing frozen or old. The employees were also kind and welcomed us with a smile. We certainly hope to be back and enjoy other items from their menu. If you go, don't forget to take a picture or a selfie. I enjoyed the tostadas and eggs with ham and cheese. I preferred the iced mocha latte with an extra shot of espresso and half sweet. I appreciated them accommodating my request to make my next coffee less sweet. My partner enjoyed a sandwich. Great employees they were very patient...
