As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to get things right, especially if there is a complaint. However, after numerous attempts to call and and express my concerns to management, it is clear they are not listening. I feel I made several good-faith efforts to get them to improve their service before leaving a negative review, but there have been no changes.
The main issue, indeed the only issue, is that the staff on Drive-Thru cannot seem to get an order right. From forgetting to provide straws with drinks (not once or twice, but as a matter of practice) to giving the entirely wrong order, I cannot think of a time when I have gone to this Burger King and have not had a poor experience. If you order a bacon croissanwich, you'll get ham or sausage. If you order french toast sticks, you may or may not get syrup. If you order onion rings, you may or may not get french fries instead. You almost certainly will never get napkins. Your coffee will never be prepared correctly.
Every time I have gone to this Burger King (which is not that frequently) I have called the manager to express my concerns. He has been kind, and has listened, and apologized, and offered me a free sandwich next time I come in. I do appreciate his willingness to make up for mistakes. But I don't want the free sandwich and have never redeemed that offer - I simply call because I am a business owner too and if I were to receive a complaint, I would work very hard to make it right, and make the changes necessary to see that it doesn't happen again. What I WANT is to place an order, have it delivered correctly every time, with straws and napkins. I myself have worked in fast food all throughout college, and I know firsthand it can be a tough job. But fast food chains have a system that's easy to follow and consistent from store to store.
