For starters, I'm writing this review of behalf of a huge group of high schoolers, not necessarily just me. We went here for a celebration for Westfield High School's success in catering to a huge event at the Carmel Paladium to over 800 people and only 44 students working in a very small kitchen, leading to massive funding for the culinary program's expansion! Issue is that for 40 high schoolers in an otherwise empty restaurant, they only gave a few tiny appetizers out for everyone to share (1 appetizer plate per ~7 high schoolers), most of which was inedible due to being charred black or burnt, and overall not very palatable to a bunch of high schoolers. Each person got a maximum of 2-3 bites out of each appetizer, and we were only served 5 (savory churros, then severely burnt vegetables, then completely black-charred peppers, then some very soft and okay-tasting pork belly (enough for 1 bite per person), and finally some oddly flavored rice balls in an eggnog-tasting sauce which almost nobody touched because it tasted so weird), and were waiting for the "actual" meal, only to be disappointed once the little shot glasses filled with whipped cream and sherbet were brought out and no more food. We were so hungry!!! The best thing was the savory churros and I only got 2 because there were so few! People wanted to order more food for just themselves if it weren't for our sub yelling at us to cancel our orders for actual sandwiches. So, we went back to the highschool early so we could actually eat some satiable food that was more edible, believe it or not, because people were still starving! Came in for a late lunch for two & ordered from the lunch menu. Food was gross & lackluster, despite a bill of $65 before tip. The pulled pork nacho appetizer was the best thing served to us. Unfortunately the chips were probably a minute away from being scorched, the shredded cheese was very sparse, the sour cream absent, the serving of BBQ pulled pork was enough for about a dozen chips, and my request for extra jalapenos yielded about 12-15 rings sprinkled atop a large plate of (overcooked) tortilla chips. The shrimp on my spinach salad was fishy-tasting & contaminated the whole salad. On the positive side, the hot bacon vinaigrette was delightful & the spinach salad became more edible, albeit simple, once I picked out the ten pieces of popcorn-sized shrimp that made the small $9 lunch-portion salad $16. The Reuben sandwich we ordered was accompanied by a small side of coleslaw that was simply a lot of mayonnaise & a little shredded cabbage. Yuck. The best I can say about our waitress is that she wasn't rude to us. Though I'm glad she was our server instead of the waitress who occasionally wandered into the kitchen, but mostly stood/sat at the bar with her head in her hands, either distraught or very bored. They had a band last night. Few people danced. I danced all night.. because I was having a blast. The waitress told the bar I had too many drinks.... she never got me a drink her service was terrible from the start. We never complained. My guy got my drinks at the bar. I had 3 total. The end of the night I got shut off for dancing all night..I didn't think this was a bad thing.. women were conversating with me all over the place..said they love my energy... or my pants..lol. one wanted a picture with me.. and everyone was complimenting me on my dancing. I never stumbled. Always with the rythym of the music.. went straight from my table to the grass dance floor and back to my table..smiling and quiet.

The band acknowledged me coming back to dance they liked me and the bar treated me bad.. I only had 3 drinks. ..But because this waitress lied on me. We got treated rude at the end of the eve. We won't go back... it was a form of discrimination we feel and...
