Jones Shakes — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I stopped in on a whim one sunny afternoon, and was not disappointed! It was my first time here, and I quite expected it to be similar to the Corral on route 18, which if you don't know, is a bit seedy but known for towering cones. Jones's was head and shoulders above that place, with sleek, clean facilities and a picturesque atmosphere. The workers obviously enjoyed their jobs and took pride in serving me with honest smiles. I was also struck by the music playing- well, specifically the commercials. There were some clever comedic commercials for Jones interspersed with the musical numbers. The brownie milkshake I ordered was above average. With such a big straw I thought the brownie chunks might be larger, but despite that it was fulfilling and tasty. The burger joined me at my table a minute or two after the shake, brought by another smiling employee. I was flabbergasted by the quality of ingredients and how huge it ended up being! I didn't even get anything you'd expect to be large, just the breakfast burger, but it was a two-hander, one of those gloriously sloppy burgers that's dripping with juice and condiments. The meat was unfortunately rather well done, which was not to my taste, but I didn't specify a doneness either. This did not in the slightest deter me from finishing the sandwich with great relish, as the fresh tomatoes and generous quanity of lettuce, as well as the over medium egg still made it a surprising pleasure.

In all, a great place that I'll be bringing my wife to, though I'll be ordering my meat medium rare and my shake blended rough. If the only things I can complain about are personal preference, then this is worth a trip on a sunny day for any aficionado of good burgers and...

Their shakes are awesome, but avoid their food. I have given it two separate tries and both times it has been undercooked, soggy, or just not good. It is food poisoning waiting to happen. In my most recent visit I did not enjoy anything from my order. The fries I was given were very undercooked. I don't normally return food, but I paid so dang much for them and they still had an uncooked potato texture! Like they had been pre cooked, but never cooked for serving. They did replace them, but they just cooked the second ones longer. I think the issue lies in the method chosen for cooking their fries, as they just were not good even after cooking new ones longer. My fiance had taco fries and not only were they undercooked, but the taco mix seemed like a week old taco salad. Everything in the mix was very soggy, like it had been scooped out of a tub. As far as order accuracy, I ordered a burger, I did confirm my order and I double checked that it would have all the normal toppings (which I assumed that that ment normal everything burger toppings) but instead I was given a burger with ketchup an absurd amount of mustard and one pickle slice. My fiance had a veggie burger also with a crazy amount of mustard.

Aside from their food their shakes are very good and I have never been disappointed in them. That is their main focus after all. Just for the price of the food I would assume it is good. Not the case, save your money and...

Young female manager very incompetent dealing with customers. I ordered 2 hot fudge Sundaes and after about 10 min l got one of the girls attention . Then the manager stated the they were coming now. After a few mins I asked again. The rude manager with her fakeness about her attitude and smiling then told me that the machine was broke but they were almost ready and shut the window in my face after I already paid for my order. So I feel like if they would have told me that the machine wasn't working right when they were first aware of the problem, I would have ordered something else. When I finally did get my order the ice cream was like milk and the hot fudge was not hot at all. I guess that they put the ice cream in the bowls first and because of the problem with the machine,the ice cream melted while waiting to put the not so hot fudge in the bowl .
